Works great and easy to use unlike the ones that have the chain. Also great for thick doors. Only downfall, they will chip and scratch the wood framing on your door, so be careful if you have expensive framing, like mine, its not fixable!!

I am so glad I found this. I had a protection order from my husband, but he still had keys and garage door opener so I was able to use these to guarantee he could not get in the house and I changed the code on the garage door highly recommend it if you don’t feel safe

As a woman to travels either alone or with children, I was excited about this find. This lock is really a great design, but the metal is too thick for most doors, rendering it useless. I’ve traveled with it in and out of the US and it has yet to fit between the door and door frame at any hotel I’ve stayed at, so I will not travel with it anymore. If you decide to try it and are flying, make it easily accessible when going through security. You’re likely to get stopped because the ridges look like a serrated edge on the scanners. Security has been cool with it when I show them what it is.

Works great. Easy to use. Not TSA friendly. It will get thrown out if you try to take this on a plane. Otherwise, super great for home/dorm use. Will lock a door without putting holes in your walls. I highly recommend.
