Very easy to install and easy to test - the loud alarm is more than sufficient to wake from a deep sleep. After installing the mounting plate - two screws with wallboard anchors, simply remove a sticker preventing battery and terminal contact and twist the unit to secure to the mounting plate. Again, then test and the alarm is loud! If you're comparing with others, do pay attention to see if the unit is UL approved, not just tested to UL standards. Many of the cheap ones from china are NOT tested and approved by UL. If you read the low rating comments on those cheaper units the stories should give you sufficient pause to spend more for quality that protects your life.

These seem to work pretty good but after a few weeks they started chirping, we had lithium batteries in them they wouldn't quit chirping until we put Alkaline batteries in .

Better pricing than the big box stores and seemed to be legitimate products. Well packaged with dust covers to ease installation. All functional when tested with loud and clear alerts for fire/smoke and carbon monoxide. Provided batteries are AA and easy to replace. Felt secure when locking into baseplate, no worries about them coming loose when mounted horizontally or vertically.

It’s only been a couple of days since I installed these detectors. They do ring loudly when I push the alarm button but there is not much of a practical way to check the CO function. They are a reputable company so I’ll just assume they function as described.

This smoke detector is multi-purpose as a CO2 detector. Easy to install.

This was a great price for the bundle pack compared to buying in the store. So far they have held up great. Definitely would recommend

Bought a 4 pack. 2 of them started faulting within 3 months of installation. Called the company. Instead of honoring the warranty they had me vacuum the units, blow air in, reset them, and then move them to a different location. The result, a fault again. Now they tell me again that the unit is too close to a doorway. I have never had detectors that have these issues…nevermind the lack if support. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
