The Ternence Micro Cage is well constructed of high quality and very smooth stainless steel. With the optional ergonomic base ring, (purchased separately) it is very comfortable for daily and long term wear. Some minor skin pinching may occur at times in situations where skin can fold over the lock, (i.e., when wearing tight jeans). This pinching is due to the sharp edges found on the outer parts of the locking mechanism; otherwise I find this cage to be very comfortable. Hardly know that it is really there!Getting the cage portion (cap) attached to the base ring can be a bit challenging, it just takes some patience and careful control of the two pins that must line up with the small holes in the base ring. As such, if the two sections of the locking mechanism are not aligned properly after seating the pins, the brass lock will not insert very easily. To avoid any pinching issues that may be caused by the alignment pins, pull most of your shaft up through the base ring prior to attaching the cap so that only the head remains exposed. This makes it much easier to seat the cap centrally over the head, align the two pins into the base ring holes, and mate the locking mechanism correctly without pinching any skin.The cap design does require some additional and routine attention to hygiene, especially after urinating. Suggest running clean water over the cap and in through the small holes as best you can after each trip. I have found that it is best to simply remove the cage and then reattach it thereafter.Most of the above issues are minor at best and fairly easy to work around. However, the urethral plug is a whole different issue. If you think you want to try the plug, plan to go very slowly and very carefully, and be sure to use an appropriate lubricant. I do not encourage using the tube as it may cause bleeding and the risk of infection.If you wish to have your most intimate parts almost completely disappear and feel like you are under complete control, this is a very comfortable and intimate cage for 24/7 wear!UPDATE 8/4/2022I love my Ternence Micro Cock Cage. I have been wearing this cage fairly consistently since I first purchased in back in February 2019, however, I do not use the urethra plug at all. The smallness of this cage is simply amazing. The feeling of being locked into such a tiny cage is fantastic. So small . . . simply wonderful! I am wearing it as I write this update to my original review. My cock feels great in this small cage and my wife loves that I wear it routinely. I am only allowed to remove it for hygiene and nature calls. If you are looking for a great daily wear cage, I would not hesitate to buy this micro cage. Close to cuckold . . .

Originally posted a 1-star because I misunderstood how to assemble this. After two days of wear, it's extremely comfortable. Seems well-constructed. Wish I could give it a 4.5 star rating. The only problem is that the lock does not smoothly insert all the way into place. There is some problem where it catches on the last 1/32". It takes considerable work to seat it firmly. In fact, I had to use a pair of pliers the first time. I was able to seat it manually the second time, but with a lot of wiggling and force. That said, this feels incredible. After many other devices, this is the most comfortable!

This cage has multiple problems. The tube is very badly positioned and angled. Urethras run closer to the bottom of the penis, not the top. This cage forces the penis to bend upward and be compressed at the top. Maybe some other guys have a better fit, but I find that unlikely. I stay locked nearly 24/7 so the tube position is important to me!The other problem, like someone else mentioned, is that the posts pinch and cut you. I admit I have a lot of foreskin, so maybe other guys won't have as much skin to be pinched.We were eventually able to get this cage on comfortably without the tube by pulling my foreskin down as much as possible and stuffing as much foreskin into the shell that could fit. But then long term wear proved that the pee and vent holes were not enough for good ventilation. My friend is my keyholder, so I need to be able to clean thoroughly while locked. I can't let it get nastier and smellier until I'm with my keyholder, and then expect her to enjoy washing it every week...Ultimately I decided a shell is no good. You would probably need to be unlocked weekly at best, if not every couple of days, just to keep it clean...Nothing wrong with ternance products overall. I have been very happy with one of their other cages and have stayed locked in it for over a week with no hygiene problems, and it's unbelievably comfy with downward angle for stealth and reduced bounce.

Basically, nothing really wrong with the cage at first, but the ring is large enough that I was able to slip out of the cage. Though my testicles did not slip out. I may just need to get a smaller ring, but it was still not very good.

All right, this is the most amazing cage. I have several different very expensive plastic ones that are uncomfortable in less than a day. My wife and I had pretty much given up on chastity until we decided to try a metal cage. We were tired though of spending all that money on a new cage and then it not working out. We decided that this one by Ternence had decent reviews and was really reasonably priced. 1/10th the price of the custom ones on line. We ordered one solid one with the urethral tube and one bird cage one without. And both work amazing. I use a little Vaseline around the bottom of the ring and the head of my member where I normally get hotspots And then some silicone lube on the urethral tube if I use it. Yes you have to be careful about pinching at the pegs. Using a Q-tip to push the skin away helps. The lock is a bit finicky but it does work, I promise. You must have the pegs fully seated. Also squeezing the bottom of the ring and the cage together lines up the lock better. Take your time. You should be able to wear this for days. I am using the smallest (40mm) ring and this small cage. My grapes are small from being on T and my boy is 1 1/2” in a cold swimming pool. He’s a grower though. I dont think you’ll be disappointed. And this price is great.

It’s okay, I’m not really satisfied with the product. If it wasn’t for the strap around my waist keeping it in, I’m sure it would slip right off. There is a lot of play in it, so much so, some times it becomes uncomfortable and pinches skin. Definitely get what you pay for, craftsman ship is poor and I’m not even willing to put the urethra plug in. If you’re new and just wanting to try things out, this will work. But definitely need the waist strap to keep it form slipping off.
