I work a call center job. Computer is fast with plenty of storage. I have to run multiple online programs at once. No problems!

My previous Dell laptop was taking 15 minutes to start up each day, probably due to a failing hard drive or battery. Since it was 8 years old, I decided it was time for a new one and took advantage of Amazon prime days to buy this new HP Laptop. I've had it 10 days now and love it! I was able to set it up in about 60-90 minutes with a lot of that time, having the system load the most recent updates. After set up, I was also able to add my Microsoft Office 365 subscription (with Excel, word, etc) and have those products download to this laptop. Connecting my HP Printer was a breeze. The keyboard is great, easy to type on. I'm a mouse user so I can't comment on the touchpad but that seems easy to use too. The only thing this PC lacks is a touchscreen which I had on my old computer. Its available but at a much higher price than i paid and since I didn't use that feature that often, I"m okay with not having it. Would definitely buy again. Note - I also purchased the 4 year Asurion protection plan through Amazon. I don't always buy these plans but I have in the past for my printer and my previous laptop and the plan came in very handy with both of those purchases.I first submitted this review right after purchase. One month later and they keys on the keyboard are already starting to fade. Seems to be an issue with HP Laptops. The keys never faded on my Dell. So i just purchased a keyboard skin cover from Amazon to put over the keys and it's working great. Make sure you purchase the right size. Shipment was very fast and speed is great and easy to set up.

This laptop is advertised as having 1024GB of memory. 512GB internal and an additional 512GB as an external drive.WARNING: The product is not shipped with the 512GB external but there is an insert with a QCR code that directs you to a site where you can request the drive. I ordered and received this product in Sept 2024 and have requested TWICE to have the external 512GB sent to me. At the point (May 2025) I have still not received the drive.CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The first thing I will say, is that it is very big. I thoughti wanted that, but I don't love the size.Secondly, the charger would not and still will not go into the charging port, comfortably. Something it there is not right. It was like that when I opened it.And I would like to know why it came from the returns department, if, in fact it was supposed to be brand new. Anyhow. No it didn't meet the expectations that I had. It's a very nice piece of equipment. Just has some things that aren't right.

This computer is fast a great price and it is just great for my needs .
