Portable Mini Bag Heat Sealer - Heat Press Machine for Sealing & Resealing Food Storage, Chips, Candy, Snacks, Groceries, Plastic Bags - Battery Operated Food Snacks Resealer

I use full-sized bag sealers to seal bags for items to be sold via "Fulfillment by Amazon." On occasion, when reprocessing returns in foreign markets (e.g., Amazon UK) I need a portable sealer that will pack neatly in a suitcase. I used this sealer to seal products in ULine brand 2-mil bags, and it worked very well. Three notes: (1) the thicker the bag, the slower it will seal, and this model is apparently intended for 1-mil bags, but I found that once I figured out the right speed to drag it along, it was completely suitable. (2) The heating element does take a couple of seconds to warm up, so when starting a seal you need to pause at the start point for a bit before you begin to drag it along. (3) I could not get it to behave well using rechargeable AA batteries. Perhaps I was not drawing it along slowly enough, but my suspicion is that these batteries are producing a bit lower current (probably due to slightly lower initial voltage) and that it's just not quite enough. It worked great with Alkalines.

Total waste of money. The bag heater could not heat the thinnest of plastic much less for a chips bag. The only heat it provided was to burn the plastic around the heating element. The clip to prevent overheating broke from the first touch. I have given a one star but truthfully it deserves no star

I am a teacher and I often reward (BRIBE) students to manage classroom behavior. I got this to make sure that I can seal my candy bags after distributing candy to my students to make sure no sticky hands made it into the bag. So far it has worked really well on a bag of Jolly Ranchers. CAUTION: Don't touch the inner padding! That is where the sealer seals and can be hot. Also, this is battery operated. You will need 2 AA batteries that are NOT included.Edited to add - item stopped working soon after.

Is not easy to use. Doesn't slide easy so the seal is not even.

Just two AA batteries and this thing was working immediately! It’s perfect for sealing my foil pouches for Scentsy hand cream samples.

It's a great produce at an equally great price. So small and easy to use. I leave it out on the counter, we us e it for every chip or cracker bag that is opened, gets resealed with this little gadget!

It kind of worked for about 10 uses (it took multiple tries to seal bags and often left areas of the bags unsealed) and then it stopped working entirely. Don't waste your money.

If you are looking to save money on your food purchases, this is an affordable and easy to use gadget to keep your food fresh longer. Most of the time you can just keep your food in the same store bought bag and just re-seal it with your mini bag sealer.No more having to put it in another container to stay fresh. Great bag sealer for the money!!
