This is the best aquarium light in its class with quality and ease of use soaring above the others. Its installation is simple and more secure than other models, using screws to fix the mounting brackets in position instead of friction or springs. Above all, the app control makes it just vastly easier to use. I’d like to see more variation in the “auto” feature, like a morning and evening setting beyond “on and off,” but perhaps this will be available with updates. Great light for fish, plants, and humans alike.

This is the second light I have had that has broken. It works fine out of the box but fails after a month. The lighting works and looks great, after a month something in the light breaks and all the white light disappears and the light only puts out a greenish yellow or red light. Very disappointing. If the light worked for more than a month it would be a great value light, but unfortunately I have now had two and they have both broken in the same way after only a month.

This light works very well, it’s very customizable and conveniently in an app which is much better than trying to figure it out through a remote like other lights. Both my 20 gallons are doing well under it, both the tall and long tanks which really impressed me with the tall one after I was having trouble growing plants with another light. Assembly was pretty easy but the only complaint would be the legs can’t lock “in place” allowing it to be bumped off the tank. The customer service is fast at responding and very helpful for this brand which made it a great purchase.

This lights work great and look great. Pairing them to my tablet was easy and you have a tone of control of them through the app. Couple things that lowered my rating: 1) the app needs a tutorial or a better help page. Through trial and error ive figured out how to use the various options in the app, but when i had a hard time trying to figure out some settings, the help option had nothing. I think the app just needs to be made a little more user friendly and/or a built in tutorial added; 2) not a fam of the stands. I dont use them because of my lids which the units themselves fit perfect and look great on, but if i was needing to use the stands i wouldnt like them. They are fine quality and a decent design but they are very tall. Its just my personal preference so take that part with a grain of salt. I like them, think they are a good buy and pretty cool.

Light was working fine for a while, then when DLST showed up, this light time did not update no matter what I did worked with tech support who could not figure this out, back on mid December 2024 red light could not be adjusted at all, worked with tech support again who promised to send a replacement. At time of writing this review tech support has not got back to me with a response. This is a total waste of money that I hope no one goes through. I ended up buying some other brand name aquarium light to replace this failed light. If I could give zero stars I would
