These are a hit in my house! We love onigiri and although I've tried several times to get that perfect triangle shape when making them by hand, I have never been good at getting nice clean lines in my triangles! The two molds are big triangle shapes, so it is easy to add fillings to the rice. Actually, the molds might be a bit too big, but they make a nice healthy serving. In addition to the typical filled onigiri, the molds are perfect for making simple fried rice cakes, another popular treat in my house. This inexpensive set also includes 2 small rice padles which are a nice touch but aren't really necessary. The set is very inexpensive, but it does the trick by saving me so much time in preparing the onigiri. Not only are they perfectly shaped, but by using the mold you can compact the rice so the onigiri don't fall apart easily, as my handmade ones did. I'm glad to have it!

My kids actually love sushi and always ask for it. This mold is perfect to make them a fun lunch to take to school. The size allows you to easily put filling in it. The silicon can be washed in the dishwasher. Perfect for a busy mom.
