Redmi Watch 5 Lite, 1.96" Amoled, Advanced in-Built GPS, 5 ATM, 18 Day Battery, Bluetooth Calling with AI Noise Reduction, Always on Display, Black

First up, this should not be called "lite" as this does all the heavy lifting in terms of features.Writing this review after a week's usage and here are some of the noteworthy things.1. Beautiful amoled display. Colours reproduction and brightness of the display are top notch2. Sleep tracking is very detailed and also tracks day naps. However, sleep data analysis is only performed on nightly sleeps and not on day naps.3. Strap quality is decent. With 7 days of usage there are no skin issues even with overnight usage.5. Excellent Battery Backup. I first charged my watch after 6 days and this is when the watch came at 63% out of box. Note that using Always On Display can reduce the battery life.6. Alexa works like a charm. Although it does not speak as regular echo devices but it responds with texts that are 99% correct.7. Mi Fitness app has evolved beautifully over the years and has an excellent, simplified UI. It also supports data syncing with Google latest Health Sense app enabling other apps to securely access your health data.

I'm writing this review after using the watch for 4 months.Pros:1. Battery life is excellent. You can use it in AOD mode for 7-8 days in light-medium usage. Full charging takes like 90 minutes in one go.2. Display is vibrant and crisp. The AMOLED used is excellent.3. The watch is very light and you can wear it easily 24/7 without any irritation.4. The GPS is mostly accurate. Don't expect pinpoint accuracy but if you're using it for basic features like step counting, calories burnt then it works fine.5. The sensors work fine.Cons:1. The volume on bluetooth calls is a bit on the low side. You can use it properly in quiet places but forget about using it in loud areas. You'll have to switch to your phone there.2. AOD brightness is a bit low. It works fine indoors but you won't be able to see it all under sunlight. There is no option to adjust AOD brightness level either.3. Sometimes the step counter will malfunction and fail to reset the step count after midnight. I have had this happen twice in my 4 months of usage.4. The number of watchfaces in the app is a bit lacking. There should have been more options available. We can't install watchfaces from outside sources either.5. Bezels are a bit on the thicker side. Redmi should work on this.It's a good watch overall but don't expect features that are in Samsung or Apple smartwatches that are 5-10x the price of this watch. It's a value for money product if you're looking for a basic smartwatch to do basic stuff and just track your fitness.

Ideal for runners or cyclists who don’t want to carry their phone.✅ Water Resistance: With 5ATM water resistance, I’ve used it while swimming and had no issues.If you're looking for a reliable smartwatch that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket but still gives you premium features — this one’s a winner. Redmi has knocked it out of the park!
