Multimeter, LeeQin Ture-RMS Auto Ranging Digital Multimeter, 2000 Counts AC/DC Voltage/Current Resistance Diode Continuity Measurement Tool with Backlight LCD Display

I was not expecting much, but I paid $6.90 for an excellent autoranging, True-RMS reading, backlit multimeter. It does exactly what it promises and works extremely well. It even includes two AAA batteries that you have to install yourself, which takes a minute or two with a Phillips screwdriver.It arrives packaged in an unmarked, brown cardboard box, but it includes a fairly decent user manual written in competent English as well as Chinese. Operation is fairly obvious to anyone familiar with basic electricity and electronics, but I still have no idea what the "SEL" button does because all function selection seems to be done by the big rotating knob.Aside from standard features such as measuring AC and DC volts and that sort of thing, it has a non-contact alert that can detect whether a wire is live with sufficient voltage to be dangerous, as well as a diode polarity tester and an audible continuity tester. The non-contact voltage sensor makes an audible beeping noise with increasing urgency as it is brought closer to a power source.This is by far the best value I've ever seen in a multimeter in this price range.

I thought all these extra functions might be useful; they just complicate what should be a simple tool! And you need a separate lead set to fit any type of electrical outlet or wire

Score... Needed a small meter for my travel toolbox. Didn't expect much because of the price. Boy was I wrong... This is a nice meter. Compared it to my Fluke and accuracy is right on. I wondered if the price was a mistake? I search elsewhere online to compare prices and can't find this brand meter anyware. Etherway one hell of a deal...

It has a lot of features for it's size. It matches accuracy of my other more expensive meters within a couple of hundredths of a volt. It has a diode check, reads junction voltage, works with some LEDs, lights lower voltage ones to about 2.2V. Test leads seem good quality. Overall a good utility meter.
