Great Dehumidifier, Great Customer Care!
I've had this unit for about a year now and it's worked excellent at taking the humidity out of the air in the room. We live in humid Texas, and if we set the dehumidifier too low, we actually need hand lotion because our hands dry out. I set an alarm to make sure I empty the unit before work because without fail, it will fill the tub every day! The unit has an option of using the .6 gal tub or a direct drain. I don't have a basement, so I use the tank. I can see the water level from the front, and also remove the tank from the front which I love. The motor runs quietly, and even though it's setting in the living room with us, we've become accustomed to it and it doesn't bother us. The unit has a timer, several comfort settings, auto-defrosting, and a child lock to prevent accidental changes in programs. I also love that it has wheels and you can move it easily from one area to the next. I did write Waykar about a small issue I was having, and they were fast to respond and worked with me right away. I haven't seen many companies who care to help their customers when the purchase has been almost a year away, so that has really impressed me about the company itself. Excellent customer service, thank you! As far as the unit, you can't go wrong with this dehumidifier. It's a great unit, does its job, and will keep your home or area nice and dry. I've never had a dehumidifier that removes so much water from the air, and this one certain gives the others a run for their money.

I Want to Kiss It...
I moved from a place where 25% is considered high humidity to the deep south, where the indoor humidity was averaging about 74% with the A/C running. I found myself turning the A/C down when it was really the humidity that was making me uncomfortable. Enter this little Waykar unit, which keeps me in the low 50s and high 40s consistently. Whew! The first unit I received leaked, but customer service was great. They even agreed to send the replacement before I returned the original so I didn't have to miss any dehumidifying. It’s shocking how much moisture it pulls from the air. I have to empty it three or four times per day. It comes with a hose, which you can run into a sink or bucket too. All in all this is a great little unit. It’s small, not too noisy, sleek, modern looking, very efficient and it gets the job done.

Good product
Works good. It’s small and doesn’t take up much room. Easy to use, empty, and roll around to different spots. It is heavy, not easy to carry if you wanted to use on different floors of the house. It does make noise, like an air conditioner or loud refrigerator running, but not so loud it’s bothersome. Overall I am very happy with it.

Super low watts 111-119
I wanted a dehumidifier with low watts and this is very low for this type of appliance. Ever since I bought solar panels and solar batteries, low watts are now my main appliance criteria. I have a watt tester and this is only 111-119 watts with the compressor running. I have checked it many times. I also wanted a unit that can blow air sideways and does not blow air straight up to the ceiling since I want to direct the air and heat from it. I might have considered a different brand if not for that. The other reason I wanted a low watt small unit is because I want it to run it all night on continuous or dry settings so I do not have to hear the compressor come on and off which is noisy. So I do not care that it takes awhile to bring the humidity down because I intend to leave it on all night in cool weather, so it is perfect for my needs. It took one hour to reduce the humidity in a 10 X 10 foot room from 75% to 45% - so if you have a large space....it may take quite a while longer or it may depend on how insulated your home is or how damp the climate, so it may not be able to keep up. am using it for a single room, so it seems fine. If you want something for a large room or to work very quickly and then simply shut off, and you have a lot of humidity, this may not be for you, not sure. My larger dehumidifier uses 400 watts and can do the same percent humidity change, as above, in about 10-15 minutes instead of an hour, so I am not saving watts for each percent in humidity change. It is still about 100 watts total to get the job done with either one in a single room. However, like I said, I want to leave it on, so this saves a lot of energy over time. My home is also not well insulated so even if the large unit gets the job done in under 15 min - it may be damp again by the end of the remaining hour making the smaller unit a better option under those conditions. The other advantage (or disadvantage) of this unit is that being low power, it produces a lot less heat. It only raised the room temperature a couple of degrees in one hour. My larger unit can change a room temperature by about 10-15 degrees in a larger 12X12 foot room and is a good heating option in winter. I am not sure yet if this will be a good winter heat source or if it will simply be my mild spring-fall option. We will see. Either unit is far more energy efficient than any space heater, by far, regardless. The other thing that makes this a good option, is that if you set it at 45 percent humidity (rather than use continuous or dry) it will shut off at around 42-43% and not come back on until 47-48%, thus, it is not turning on and off all the time for every percentage change in humidity. My larger one, of a different brand, does that, and with only a 1 percent change, it turns on and off and it is super annoying and loud when it does, thus the need for the continuous setting. So, it depends on what you are looking for. So far, so good, for what I wanted, and I will also probably use it to dry hand washables in the bathroom with the dry setting on damp days, as well, with the dry setting. It came with a manual but no set-up instructions. Its humidity gauge is similar to my separate units if placed nearby, so accurate enough. It does shut off when the bucket is full - that works fine. Do not forget to tighten the hose adapter plug in the back! Mine came lose, but I noticed it ahead of time. If you do not tighten it, it may leak. The unit is also a bit noisy. It is not louder then my bigger one but makes a higher pitch background sound and some slight chugging sounds, so I hope I can habituate to that.

Good Product, Great Company Support
This dehumidifier worked well for several months and made a difference in pulling moisture out of the air. Regarding the leak concerns mentioned, I personally didn’t experience any issues. The unit would automatically shut off when the tank was full. Also, the humidity readings on the digital display were close to or in line with my home thermostat, so I was pretty sure it was working accurately. After a few months of use, the unit unfortunately developed an issue and stopped working properly. I contacted customer support and they responded quickly. They walked me through a few troubleshooting steps and were friendly throughout the process. Even though the troubleshooting didn’t fix the problem, they arranged a replacement at no cost since it was still under the 1-year warranty. It’s possible that I had a faulty unit, but before the issue, the humidifier was working great. Considering the company’s communication and support efforts, I’m leaving a positive review.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix !

We have had this product for a year. Works well to reduce humidity in our 1400sq ft home. It obviously has some level of noise when running but it's manageable. Good size - not too big. Rolls well. ConS: does beep loudly when tank isn't on. It's great because it'll notify you if you werent intending to remove the tank but annoying when trying to empty the tank. Ours did start to ice up at the year mark but the company is very helpful and responsive.

Great product, I ordered on Jan 2025, worked excellent for 10 months,I am using this for my 1200 sq ft(basement)+ 1200sq ft(main floor). I kept in basement, and was helping to reduce humidity whole house. I noticed problem after 10 months, that it started showing random high reading for humidity and not collecting water. I reported problems to wayker team, they helped me with troubleshooting steps, but unfortunately it didn't work. I get great support to replace product within warrenty rules from the team.Great after sales service.

A suivre
