A Perfect Cuppa!
Having got one else where in Amazon that arrived broken I was thrilled to bits to open this and find a perfect tea pot! The size is deceiving as it doesn't look big enough for 7 cups of tea...but it IS spot on for two large mugs of tea with enough left over for a decent top up (or 3 normal mugs & a small top up each) The inner steel infuser is very well made, it's rigid and smoothly finished having the advantage of a little handle to lift it out with. I find the easiest way to agitate the tea a little was by lifting the infuser up and down a few times! The pot handle stays cool to touch and most importantly, theres no drip when you pour either. I like the design of this teapot, it's not quite retro but doesn't look modern either so fits in my old-fashioned styled kitchen and as I chose turquoise blue and it's looks fab with my duck egg blue kitchen too. Could't ask for anything better to be really honest!

Makes a fab brew.
Makes a wonderful brew, it is like the Tardis, it holds more than it looks as if it can from the outside. Best teapot I have owned.

Great for loose tea lovers
We love loose tea and there are four of us. So, in the morning, now, instead of using two standard teapots with a strainer, we use this Tealyra for all of us and there are many cups to spare for those, like me, who like 3 or 4 mug fulls... The strainer is super fine, keeping even finely cut Assam out of the tea. The pot is tall and there is plenty of depth. This means that the long strainer keeps the tea leaves in the hot tea until all but the last cup. That is a great design feature in my view. Another design plus is that the lid is mounted in a silicone surround, so although the lid is metal, it forms a seal between the lid and the ceramic pot. As the maker says, ceramic teapots are the best for tea. A beautifully designed thing of purpose. A pleasure to use.

Attractive, providing v/g volume, non-drip.
Just arrived and using it. As others claim, a light weight, attractive teapot which pours well without drips; does hold the 1400 mls as described and wonderful having a fixed lid which is less likely to break (unless the fixture breaks). Personally found the inner sieve to be useless for me as prefer to use teabags. Like that the handle is wider than some handles I've looked at and large enough I feel for those with large hands but that is my opinion, however, the entry is narrow for those of us with dexterity problems. I am thinking how easy will it be to keep its inner clean especially as tannin can build up especially around the inner part of the black rubber ring, presuming it is rubber or even if plastic, and also just how long will the rubber last before becoming loose, cracked, flaking Only time will tell. Feel I still need to keep looking for a tea pot with a larger top with a lot of the above benefits, especially the volume and non-drip.

Very nice teapot bright and cheerfull
Initially I thought the wrong size was sent out. I imagined it to be taller than what came. So I filled it with 1.4 litres of water and I was so surprised it was 1.4 litre size. The insert is very well thought. No leaves came out in the cup once it is poured. Easy to clean aesthetic and pleasing colour, overall I feel excited to own it. It is in use every day.Yesterday I bought a different colour as wellI find it a pleasure using it daily. Highly recommended.

Excellent Teapot
I was lucky, I got mine for £20.89 Warehouse “used” deal, brand new so far as I could tell.It really does hold 1.4 Litres, despite what some very strange reviews are stating. Yes, I have measured the quantity. No drips, easy pour, no problems at all.Very easy to clean with my Sigg Cleaning Bush (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Sigg-Designer-Cleaning-Brush-White/dp/B002I02HQU/ref=cts_sp_1_vtp) and a smaller brush for the spout.Handle remains cool if you pour the tea out fairly promptly but I prefer a whole pot to myself using a tea cosy, then it heats up but is still OK to hold in my opinion. In short, I am delighted with it.

A good teapot
Some reviews of this product say it has cracked. The is a warning on the box not to place it on a hot hob and I fear thjat this may have been the reason for ther reported cracking. I have been using it for weeks now without any problem of it cracking. I warm it with hot weater before pouring in thew boiling water to make the tea and keep it on a cork stand. These are normal and sensible practices. There are other reviews complaining that the lid was not glued on properly. Well the lid is obvoiusly not supposed to be glued on. The box says the teapot is diswasher safe and you do need to rewmove the lid to place the pot in a dishwasher. It pours very well and is good for either loose tea using the strainer or bags with the strainer removed. I thinkl it is a great teapot and I would buy another or recomend it to a friend.

A nice tea pot overall but with a few flaws
I liked the shape and the colour (we chose red). I liked that the basket was easily removable and easy to clean.I disliked that it dripped from the spout. Also, when you want to pour what is left in it, it came out from the top part as as well as it is not secured in place. I would have held the top in place but the top is made of metal and it gets hot as well.
