I previously used to have a mate called Stanley that would keep my drinks hot for me, I haven't seen him in a while, but fun what I hear, his services have only got a bit pricier. So I needed a more cost friendly solution, I looked at many and settled on this Lokpesco flask. I've used it a few times now, I fill it up with tea in the morning to have on my desk at work throughout the day. The spec and quality is great, and can we agree it looks the business, it looks like it belongs to Master Chief. I filled it up at 9:30am and purposely left some in it overnight to see how it fared, at 7:30am the next morning (22hrs later) the tea was still warm, warm enough for you to appreciate at first light if you had been camping overnight and warm enough to gulp down, like hot tap temperature, warm not scolding....but 22hrs later is good enough for me. There are a couple of things I want to share about it. The lid/cup is stainless steel with a wraparound hard plastic shell on the side. It's nice, it's clean, but the base of the lid is stainless steel, no outer shell, which means on pouring your hot drink into it, the steel base of the cup gets very hot very quick, the first time it you pick it up it catches you by surprise. I've reflected on this...and I'm OK with this, primarily because I'm using this when I've also been cold and being able to use the base to warm your hands is an added benefit, this does also mean it conducts the heat away from the drink quicker too though...again...it helps bring a scolding hot drink to a drinkable temperature quicker, than if you had an inner hard plastic cup with steel shell on outside like my old pal Stanley did....that kept the poured drink hotter for longer insulating the poured drink, but...if I've poured it...I want to drink it, if I want it kept heated, I'll leave it in the flask, I like being able to warm my hands on the cup. The pouring mechanism of the flask is spring seal, I'm not a huge fan of this but this is my only concession seeing as everything else, the price, the style, the heat retention, the size, is all so good. It pours nice, not a drop spilt, but I have heard a quiet release of the hot air built up inside (see video). The handle is nice, sturdy and you can use to hold and pour in confidence, the flask also came with a long over-shoulder carry strap handle and it's pretty ingenious the design, it just clips right over the side handle fitting, really neat. I haven't tested and ability to hold chilled fluid, it's winter and that test may come in the summer on a hot day. Overall, I really rate this. Price, value, function, style, practicality, it's got it all. Watch that first hot pour though, you've been warned...the cup base really is like touching a hot radiator. Update... I've had a warm drink after 30hrs, warm, not hot but warmer than tepid. Today I filled it with cold tap water and ice cubes to have cold water while I worked, 15hrs in and I still have the same ice cubes in the water, a little smaller now, but i would say they were still near full size after 9hrs. 15hrs is plenty long enough for my purposes to have ice cold water. Update-update: I left what water was in overnight, about 200ml, checked this morning, hey-presto, 24hrs later there are still 2 ice cubes left (see pic).

The flask top don't seal properly and has emptied all over my paper work
