Just buy this one already
This kit is fantastic. I was between this and the Four Uncles one and decided to go with OMT since it’s an American company rather than Chinese. The quality is great and just performed a vacuum coolant test and refill on a 2016 Toyota RAV4 and sure enough it has the cap I needed and it went great. I did use an 8 gallon air compressor with this. You likely will need 6 gallon at bare minimum but 8 is safer.

Worked great
Has a very good selection of adapters for pressure testing! Held pressure on a cooling system for 8 hours! Manual could use some updating. Has adapter for Prius engine and inverter cooling system! Haven’t used vacuum fill yet.

Best Value COMBO; P-Tester for Radiators+Caps uniquely shares 22 Adapters w/Vac-Test+Fill Tool
This dual-purpose OMT kit for both Pressure Test AND Vacuum Test+Fill offers incredible value, with custom-fit adapters for nearly every radiator and cap type—nearly matching AutoZone's $370 single-purpose rental kit which only performs Pressure Tests. After using it for 6 months on multiple cars of different brands (and connection types) from USA to Japan and Korea, I’m extremely satisfied. The kit helped me quickly identify a large radiator leak by producing a visible spray of coolant as a result of pump pressure on the closed cooling system, something I couldn't achieve just by idling the engine. (Important note: Don’t over-pressurize beyond your radiator cap’s rating to avoid creating new leaks.) The included hand pump is great for pressure testing radiators and caps, reaching up to 40 psi (2.5 bar) on its high-quality gauge. That's higher than the pressure rating of any radiator cap I've ever yet seen, so it covers the maximum possible pressure I'll ever test to. In addition to immediately detecting obvious large leaks, the pressure gauge can be used for sustained "hold tests" to find small leaks that may only drip over time. If necessary, you can use UV dye in the coolant, then apply pressure to reveal even the smallest leaks with help from a UV Light at night. I’ve found that combation of Pressure Pump PLUS UV helpful for diagnosing slow leaks that may cause coolant loss over months, tool, but still eventually risking overheating and blown head gasket if not found and repaired. A standout feature of this OMT kit is its included vacuum test and fill tool, which is usually an extra cost for a separate kit from other brands. This tool uses induced vacuum from an air compressor to remove all air gaps during coolant refills, preventing problems like cylinder head cracks or heater failure which may occur after any less perfect fill with air gaps. OMT includes this vacuum tool with the pressure tester at the cost of just this one combo kit. That's unlike competitors such as Harbor Freight, which charges $95 for a single-purpose pressure test kit, then an additional $88 for their completely separate tool for vacuum test and fill. The vacuum tool in this OMT kit is also well-designed, working effectively with all 22 of the kit's shared custom-fit snap-on radiator adapters which also snap onto the pressure test tool to assure a secure seal. It created a solid vacuum of 25 inches (0.85 bar) for me today when blowing my 90 psi compressed air through its vacuum ejector. Then I only had to close a quarter-turn ball valve to lock in that strong induced vacuum and confirm no leaks anywhere in my car’s entire coolant loop after that vacuum held throughout a 10-minute test. Finally, by opening one ball valve to its coolant intake [after previously draining old coolant and then vacuum hold testing as I'd just finished in the close-up photo], I was extremely pleased to [finally; after 40 adult years of growing expertise as home mechanic to family & friends] refill exactly like the best-equipped pro repair shops [see wider photo, just as I finished my setup to fill from its induced deep vacuum [in my pre-drained empty Cooling System] to Zero Remaining Vacuum [which then means 100% filled with no air bubbles; equalized with the atmospheric pressure which is pushing down outside - on the remaining new coolant in my siphon bucket]. This Vacuum Test+Fill tool has just added a professional level tool to my home garage - saving time and more importantly, perhaps saving engines from overheating failures due to coolant leaks I wouldn't have found without it. Overall, this OMT kit offers the most quality and value I could find for under $100 (as I write this, in Spring 2025). It has brought me professional-level capabilities for testing and repairing cooling systems on a variety of cars—eliminating many times its cost in shop labor for cars of family and friends while ensuring reliable, leak-free repairs.

Good Value Kit but Needs Better Adapter Fit and Chart
- I haven't used the refill tool yet so I can't really talk about that yet. The pump on my kit holds pressure perfectly with no leaks. The adapters have been useful but doesn't fit every car and sometimes needs a little improvising. I have used it on a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L, 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 V6, and 2002 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L so far and it all worked well. The case is okay but some of the attachments fall out when opened. - The biggest issue is about this kit is how the coolant spills from the adapter when releasing pressure. It also could really use a proper chart matching adapters to vehicles to save time. - Overall, its defiantly gets the job done and should work for DIYers and most vehicles.

Awesome value and has every adapter imaginable!
Exceeded my expectations! This kit is well thought out and seems to be of very good quality. It was a bunch of adaptors one of which fits my Audi Q5. There's even additional adaptors for your Air Compressor to fit on the vacum setup (the included pump is only for pressure testing). I've been wanting a kit like this for years and this one is awesome! If you are replacing the fluid on a newer (even older) vehicle pulling a vacum beforehand is a must - this will help eliminate an air bubble being trapped which can blow a head gasket or due other engine damage. My S2000 had one years ago and it didn't show up until I put about 50 miles on it after the fluid change - the Water Temp gauge pegged at max in just a few seconds. I was lucky and had extra water to help fill the air bubble void and everything ran fine afterward. If you get this OMT kit you won't be disappointed! Awesome value for everything you get.

Looks nice, but useless
Useless for me Like most of Chinese crap I've bought, this looks great. Nice case, lots of adapters, the pump seems well made, BUT it doesn't work. I bought it to diagnose a coolant leak in a 97 Jeep Cherokee. "Real" pressure testers at NAPA start at $250 and up. I should have known better. Non of the adapters fit the Jeep fill neck or radiator cap. I thought the radiator cap test function would be useful. Non of the adapters seal well enough to test. I tried 5 old and new different caps 13-16 lbs and none would hold past 8-10 lbs. All of the caps are bad? Too bad. It does look nice, but useless.

Worked perfectly on a 2016 RAM 1500
This will fit a 2016 RAM 1500 regardless of what the Amazon fitment checker tool says. Tool worked perfectly. For my truck I needed to use one of the three metal radiator caps included in the kit. I pumped it up to 15 lb which is what the radiator cap is spec'd at. Shortly after that I could see and here the coolant dripping out. In my case it was near the upper radiator hose. Cracked flange. Well worth the price to do a self diagnosis.

Really great tool, well made, fittings great quality and tough, use this tool at work as well at home, important correct fittings used on the expansion tanks, can be tightened with the small spanner supplied, overall great value for money.

Works well once you get the hang of it. Used it to fill cooling system in two vehicles. First one was on a Jeep TJ via the radiator and it did not work as well as I hoped. Main air line leaked even when I closed the red/orange shut-off and it seemed to struggle to pull a vacuum. I suspect the rad was full and the fluid was being sucked out. Problem with a radiator is you can't monitor progress like you can in an overflow bottle. Old vehicles generally are designed to be filled and a few squeezes of the upper radiator hose usually gets the air out. So not sure I saved much using this device in that situation. There is some setup. 2nd vehicle was a Ford F350 and it worked like a charm. For some reason the red/orang valve did not leak this time and it had no problem pulling a vacuum to fill the system. Did it twice but could easily monitor progress on the degas bottle. There is no radiator cap in this system. Take it for a 20minute drive to open the thermostat and drive around and then top up again. Only had to add about 250ml to finish the job. A few comments: - the main air line fitting is different than standard air lines we use in North America (Type M). The kit does come with two other fittings to replace it but the one seemed to short and my quick connect kept slipping off like it was too short. Fortunately, I had one lying around and installed it and it worked fine after that. - comes with multiple cap adapters. I found the radiator ones to be quite cheaply made, they did the job but may not last repeated use. The plastic ones for the expansion tank were much better made and fit snug. - overall the assembly feels cheap but that is just the black plastic covers which fit loosely over the brass fittings and hardware. Seemed to work fine. - tubing for coolant pickup and air outlet is short but standard size so you can pick some more up. I zip tied a large combo wrench to the pickup to straighten it out and weigh it down in the coolant bucket. Suggest you put the air outlet tube in an empty container to catch any coolant mist as it will spray some out.
