I replaced my Chromecast with Google TV with the MECOOL KM2 Plus, and I’m really impressed. The performance is smooth, the picture quality is excellent, and streaming apps run perfectly. The remote control is responsive, and the overall experience feels much faster and more stable than my old device. Definitely worth the upgrade — it did not disappoint!

Great product . Fast no lag smooth operation. The only problem i had was it would shut off unexpectedly i though it was defective so i was returning it for another one. Then i went through my settings and i don't know why and i didn't put this setting in. It has an energy saver setting that was on snd set to 3 hours the tv screen will shut off. So i set the settings to off. That fixed the unexpected screen shutting off. I canceled the return

Does not decode DTS HD but other than that it is really nice. Most streaming services use EAC3 and it decodes that perfectly The only TV box I know of that decodes everything is the nvidia shield but it is more expensive

snappy Android 11 Google TV interface. All apps run very smoothly. You can enable always HDR or Dolby Vision which is a nice feature to have. The picture quality from the box is excellent. Cannot vouch for Dolby Atmos sound output as it is connected to a LG OLED B6P tv that only has an HDMI 2.0 port, and it cannot pass on Dolby Atmos. Most tv streaming boxes only have 10/100 ethernet ports but this box has a 10/100/1000 ethernet port. This box works fine with the IPTV provider we use, and we no longer have to use the smart tv features built into the TV as it is outdated (8 years) and much slower. The only negative issue with this box is the 4k playback is only at 30p and not 60p even though the TV supports that resolution. For the cost and depending on your usage, this box is a fantastic alternative to a Fire Cube, Apple TV+, or even an Nvidia Shield which are all over $130.

I did a fair amount of research on these android TV boxes before buying. The feature set and specs of this device are very good for the price. Unfortunately, in use, the box does not come close to meeting expectations. Bluetooth stopped working after a few hours of use. Overall build quality is low. The remote is poorly and cheaply designed. I recommend you look elsewhere. It is expensive, but the Nvidea Shield ($199 version; not the $149 version, which is crap) is probably your best bet. The onn 4k Pro at $50 is also good for the price.

I have a couple of Nvidia Shield Pro boxes, which are amazing, but pricey, and decided to try this since some say it's nearly as good. The remote was huge, and not sure why it needed to be so big. The setup was about like the shield, and has a 1G Ethernet port and USB for added storage, but it lacked some ability I need for these streaming devices, and was glitchy and slower than the shield pro by far. I had it for about 3 weeks and had to hard restart a number of times because it just locked up and would not respond. I returned and bought another Shield Pro instead. The picture quality was fine and likely near the shield, but it lacked a few of the needed functions and customizable functions that the shield provides. If looking for a basic streaming device, it will suffice, but if looking for the best, I'd suggest the Shield Pro.

I would say this product is on par with the Nvidia Shield Pro in terms of functionality. While the Nvidia Shield Pro offers more features overall, the MeCool brand still stands out as a solid alternative. I own both, but I find the MeCool interface easier to navigate. Recently, I’ve experienced some software responsiveness issues with the Nvidia Shield, whereas the MeCool brand operates efficiently and at speeds comparable to the Nvidia Shield. Additionally, it offers more storage capacity than the Nvidia Shield, which is a nice bonus.I would definitely recommend it to those who are still on the fence about buying this product—it’s a great option that delivers strong performance and value!

Es un gran reemplazo para el firetv cube 3rd gen que tenía (empezo a fallar el wifi) si quieres streaming accesible esta es tu opción. Todo ha funcionado y puedo confirmar netflix en 4k. Lo unico que no me ha funcionado el adb wireless y aun no pruebo por usb. Tampoco he detectado comunicaciones sospechosas en adguard Actualización: logre usar el adb wireless para hacerlo mas privado. Pero aun asi no detecte ningún comportamiento sospechoso en mi router, ni en adguard ni nada. Totalmente recomendado
