I bought these for a trip and was on the fence about the style.On the trip they looked great for both casual and fine dining.We averaged 5 miles per day walking on our trip and the shoes were like walking on air and they were super comfortable with no break in period needed.They kept my feet both warm and cool.Just buy them! You will not be disappointed.

The fabric is soft and flexible. I thought that the Merino wool material might be too hot, but it is not. I like the simple design. By far, the absolute best feature is that these shoes are machine washable!!! They are still new to me, and I have not washed them yet, but it is so great to know that I could refresh them so easily. The sole of the shoes is comfortable. Good support, and I can wear these all day without fatigue. I am glad that I sized-up to a size 10 (normally, I wear size 9). The extra room makes these shoes comfortable, and the laces can be cinched down.

I bought these as a gift for my husband. He loves these shoes and wears them several times a week.

Allbirds shoes are, I think, something of a status symbol. However, they have become that because they offer appearance, quality, and comfort appreciated by fashion-conscious individuals for whom price isn't a major issue.The pliant Merino wool uppers makes these shoes both soft and lightweight. However, the wool uppers also mean that if you flex your toes, the impressions of the toes will be visible, which is a little unusual in a shoe. Obviously, you should not expect these to wear as long as a quality leather shoe, but long wear isn't the design objective, fashion and comfort are.The materials and construction both appear to be high quality, but of course (especially in the natural white with white soles that I ordered), they may become visibly soiled rather quickly. I'm sort of reminded of the "white buck" shoes popularized by Pat Boone back in the 1950s and '60's. The ad on the Amazon page says they are washable, so that might alleviate that concern. However, doesn't wool shrink when it's washed?I have size 14 feet, so that's the size I ordered. Unfortunately, the actual size of Allbirds' "14" is probably no more than 13 1/2, so these are a bit tight in length for me. If you wear anything less than a 14, you might consider ordering a size larger than the size you normally wear. Sadly, since 14 is the largest size offered, I couldn't do that.In short, I recommend these for fashion-conscious men whose feet are shorter than size 14, if price is not a big issue.

This pair of sneakers are so much more comfortable than I expected. This is my first pair from Allbirds and it did not disappoint. Sizing was true to size for me and it is a very comfortable fit. The material of the shoe feels sturdy and well made. I like the simple design and looks the shoe gives out and it is easy to pair for everyday clothing. I was concerned that the shoe might run hot due to the wool material but surprisingly it does not. These are a solid addition to my everyday rotation

These shoes arrived about 2 weeks before Christmas. I put them on as soon as they arrived and have worn them every single day since. I wore them to ball games, to work at a standing all day job, and shopping. They are so comfortable I leave them on when I get home in the evenings. They work great with or without socks. They are very light weight, keep my feet warm and are cute with casual cloths.

According to Allbirds their shoes are unisex, you just adjust the size up or down as needed for the length, but the width and cut are the same for men and women. I say this because these are listed as men's shoes, but I am a woman and ordered them in one full size smaller than my usual size, and they are perfect! I love them, they are so comfortable. Wore them around all day running errands, then walked the dog, worked in the kitchen making dinner/cleaning up etc, over 10 hours on the first day and they were very comfortable without any issues of needing to break them in etc. I have a small tailor's bunion/ bunionette and it was not at all irritated or sore even by the end of the day. The heel tab comes up just right so they don't slip on my heel but don't rub either, and they have a good amount of cushioning (though not a lot of extra arch support if you need that - I wear a lot of converse and flats so I'm used to it except in running shoes). Our weather has been quite warm lately but even though these are wool my feet didn't get too hot or feel sweaty in them (they say they are temperature regulating, I guess they're right). The color "true black" isn't quite accurate in my opinion, although the online pics look like a true black shoe with gray-black laces, there's a slightly blue/purple tint, more obvious in the laces but also slightly in the shoe as well when compared to my black clothing items. They still have a great retro look and the color looks good, I just feel it's worth mentioning that it's not really true black. Anyway other than that I totally love these shoes, I can tell they will be my go-to pair a lot of days. And the materials are eco-friendly, as the cherry on top. I highly recommend these shoes!
