Works perfectly and is so reliable!
Works like a charm! Very easy to move, as it has wheels. Emptying manually is easy because of a handle to carry it to a nearby sink to dump the water. When we’re gone for extended periods, we place it in our kitchen counter and use the drain hose, which works perfectly. It keeps the humidity levels to within 2-3 points or exactly to where you program it to be, even in humid climates, like Florida. We also love that it’s energy efficient. Would highly recommend purchasing!

Good value!
Great size for our house. We had the previous model that was slightly easier to empty the reservoir but overall this is a very similar new model. Works well and is very quiet.

Works very well!
This works very well for drawing the moisture out of the air. My basement was about 80% humidity and after running it for 24 hours it was down to 40% humidity. You do have to empty the holding tank a lot at first but it was amazing how much water it produced.I did order an extra hose to attach to see if I could get it to drain into my shower but I couldn’t get it to work.I am okay with that because once you get the humidity stabilized you don’t have to empty the water as often. It is easy to use and since I have it on carpet I did buy a rubber mat to set it on in case it did leak, but I have not had any problems with it in the 6 months I have had it. Overall I am very satisfied and happy that I can control the humidity in the basement.

Does a great job.
Does a great job. The fan produces warm air, so it can warm up a smaller space. The pump does a great job, so no emptying the tank.

Efficient and Relatively Quiet
Bought as a replacement for an older unit. Impressed with how well it works ( much more efficient than older unit). Construction material is adequate (plastic exterior) but pieces fit well. Unit is much quieter than my old one (low bar). I have not tried on quietest setting nor the pump function. A month in: pleased with purchase.

Came defective
This dehumidifier was brought assuming it would give us the coverage in our attic. The 1 st month passed and it sounded like it was doing its job but my husband would go up and check and for no apparent reason the dehumidifier would stop functioning. We thought ok we’ll do some troubleshooting and adjustments. The second month now we call Amazon and they could not help us bc this is a third party seller. BEWARE they will give you the runaround and tell you all the reasons why it’s probably not working. They will not settle the problem the way Amazon would. Which is money back guarantee. I wouldn’t risk buying from this seller and from now on will only stick to Amazon items no third party seller sellers bc of this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Hoping it Will Outlast my Previous Choices
I've had four Frigidaire dehumidifiers exactly this same size (rated 60 pints if I recall correctly) which lasted from 11 months to a maximum of 30 months (one of the four being provided on the warranty). I love the automatic pump feature system on the Frigidaire. I bought this Honeywell now because it also has a pump, and because on doing further research I read that my Frigidaire units were failing (icing up) because they do not have an icing sensor, and I have it in the basement where the temperature falls to a "frigid 65 degrees" in the winter, which they apparently can't deal with.Time will tell.......but I already don't like the very noisy pump on the Honeywell, which runs for about one second, then a pause, and then about three seconds, which I can hear from two floors above it. The Frigidaire pump was much better. It allowed the tank to fill up with water and then quietly pumped it out over about one or two minutes of time.
