Ease of camera set up.
Works great. Get good reception with multi carrier. The pixels are not very clear in the pictures or videos if you try to zoom in on them. It is a reliable camera and worth the money. Battery life is better if you use the 6700mAH rechargeable battery. Very easy to set up, just scan the QR code and within a few steps your done.

Works great and easy to set up
Very happy with this purchase. My wife and I own a 43-acre hunting property in Northern AZ, and since we don't get out very often, we usually have a ton of pics to go through from our traditional game cameras. Unfortunately, most of these are of tree branches moving in the wind, with interspersed game pics. Of course, we are often months behind the most recent pics, so tracking game patterns has been tricky. Additionally, we've had relatively lower-quality no-name brand cameras that work, but often seem to have weird glitches with time/date stamps which only further confounds the tracking data. Enter this Moultrie... VERY happy with the product, as it is a very high quality build, materials are sound and just "feel good" in your hand. Controls are app-based primarily, but the set up is very simple and intuitive. Since our property is remote, we opted to use the solar panel, and it also very well built, which gave us some peace of mind as our weather can be tough out there. At our property, we only have a few cell networks that get any signal, so I was very happy with the connectivity of the camera; it found a mid-range signal very quickly and has been sending pics and video without issue. Picture quality is great so far, with typical nighttime blurring if animals are moving or running by (see pics). The On-Demand picture feature is hard to resist, as I often like peeking in on the property, and it works well, taking less than 45seconds to get an image (likely would be faster with a stronger cell signal). Battery life seems great so far, and the solar panel certainly helps with that. In terms of value, yes, this camera set up was by far our most expensive, but the quality is evident and makes the purchase well worth it. We're planning on slowly replacing our other primary cameras with other Moultries so we can have a wider on-demand view. Great product!

Solid trail cam with clear pictures and easy app setup
This camera is really solid. The pictures look super clear (up to 40MP) and the videos record in 1440p with sound, which is better than most I’ve tried. The no-glow flash is nice because it doesn’t spook animals, and the range is pretty far — about 100 feet. What makes it stand out is the LTE connection. Once it’s set up, photos and videos go straight to the Moultrie app on your phone. You can change settings, check previews, and even organize your shots without pulling the camera down. It also includes 3 months of OnX Hunt Elite with activation, which is a cool bonus. For power, you’ll need either 16 AA batteries or one of their rechargeable/solar packs (sold separately). If you plan on using it a lot, the solar option will save you money in the long run. Just keep in mind a subscription is required for the cellular service. Overall, it’s easy to set up, works as promised, and gives you the kind of detail you’d expect from a higher-end trail cam.

I OWN 28 MOULTRIE EDGE 2 PRO, READ THIS!
I OWN 28! EDGE 2 PRO cameras, my review: I've own moultrie since the M80 (the first mini cam) THEY ADVERTISE 40MP pictures. You will NEVER see a 40MP picture from a cell camera from Moultrie! You get a .9 mp thumbnail, (that's in writing from tech support I can prove it!) My "enhanced photos" barely EVER actually download, EVER! Moultrie is a money PIT; As soon as a camera is over a year old IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO THEIR APP, rendering your non-SD card Camera WORTHLESS. THIS HAPPENS REGULARLY; In my tree stand i have 3 cameras in separate areas. (Just around one stand) THEY ALL MISS MULTIPLE DEER as they walk in a row right towards the camera. I've seen doe groups of 4-6 all get missed (every deer). I've had buck literally shake water off their bodies RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. and not get a picture. I've had cameras miss me! Walking into the woods. I'm posting this review as much as I can. Moultrie stopped caring about their customers a long time ago. If they ever actually did. If I could leave them 0 stars I would.

Nice game cam with clear images.
These provide clear images, but are very sensitve, which result in false triggers that quickly use the allowed (1000) images that come with the basic subscription plan of $10/month. With some fine tuning over a couple months there's enough settings to overcome that issue, but even things like shadows that change during the day or heat variations from the ground to the mounting point can still result in false triggers. Overall I'm happy with them after making adjustments to minimize false triggers.

Incredible Trail Cam – Worth Every Penny!
This camera exceeded all my expectations! The photo quality is amazing — crisp 40MP shots and clear 1440P video, even at night. I love the LTE auto-connect feature; it sends real-time updates straight to my phone without any hassle. The no-glow flash is perfect for discreet monitoring, and the AI false trigger elimination really works — no more wasted battery on wind-blown branches. Whether you’re tracking wildlife or just adding security around your property, this camera is a solid choice. Highly recommend!
