Made a great “Dad gift” with personalized candy inside. If you’re getting it to sell candy, make sure you adjust, otherwise it puts out a lot of candy for 1 quarter. It’s a little hard to understand how to adjust the mechanism for servings. So read the instructions thoroughly!-Mom

I use it in a unique way — instead of gum, I fill it with 1” capsules that each hold the title of a book from my TBR pile (to-be-read books, for non-readers). It works perfectly right out of the box and adds so much fun to choosing my next read. I use quarters to operate it, which doubles as my “book money” — no new book purchases until I’ve saved enough from using the machine. It’s turned my TBR into a reward system, and I’m obsessed. I call her “Reading Roulette”.The capsules fit just right, and the machine works smoothly on the first try every time. It comes with two keys, is easy to disassemble and reassemble, and looks far more elegant and classy in person than any video or photo can capture. It’s become both a functional piece and a conversation starter in my reading space.My only minor complaint is that it’s lightweight — I do wish it had a little more weight to it, just so it wouldn’t shift slightly when turning the knob. But that’s a small issue in an otherwise flawless experience.If you’re looking for something fun, stylish, and practical (especially with a bookish twist), this gumball machine is a total win! super cute. it’s all plastic no glass. works well with slightly bigger candy than the Runts we r using. took a minute to figure out all the parts. the instructions are poor. also u have to take it all apart to get the money out. it’s a big size and holds about 9lbs of candy.

Doesn’t work with smaller 32mm capsules. Allows 3x32mm to dispensed at a time. But I added cardboard to only allow one capsule at a time.Can remove parts of the mechanism so it doesn’t require quarters to work. Just remove the parts in the photos.

Beautiful gumball machine! Theres inly one problem. They put this nasty sticker that leaves this horrendous adhesive residue stuck to the clear acrylic. Any effort to clean it will damage the surface. I will have to disassemble the whole thing and rotate the blemished part. But I ask why would you do this??

Not cheap, but highly useful for positive re-enforcement for kids!My 3 year old nephew now asks “what can I do for a quarter?”It’s a great way to assign tasks, and teach “cleaning up” and personal responsibility.You can find the “balls” I purchased to fill it with in my other reviews- it took me a couple different purchases to find the right size for this machine.
