The Shop Fox 1852 is near perfect. The packaging was good and no shipping damage
The Shop Fox 1852 is near perfect. The packaging was good and no shipping damage. I used a small lift to assemble the parts by myself ( not recommended). There were only eight bolts required to assemble. There were also 4 leveling assemblies that had to be adjusted. This is a heavy piece of equipment and I could see how shipping damage could be a problem. The lathe started up ( 220 volt) without any problems. I simply plugged it into the electricity. I like the forward / backward variable speed. I have been able to concentrate on my wood projects not dealing with equipment problems.Happy in Tennessee
