17PC Belly Button Plug Belly Button Shaper Post Tummy and Breathable Belly Button Patch

I will admit, it is distressing to second guess this product when your baby starts crying and you can't figure out why and you wonder if it's this new thing you taped on them. But, at least for us, it has not been the cause of any of her discomfort (boogers, it's usually boogers, the deep ones that need prolonged suction to get out). This thing works! She is 2 months premature and developed a belly button hernia that was about an inch in diameter. And it seemed to grow bigger when she would cry or push a fart/poo. First application it was drastically smaller, barely 1/4 inch. A week later it really seems like it's finally healing into a normal belly button like it should. I change it after/during bath time, depending on my ability to keep her warm so she won't cry while I put it back on. I tried not changing during bath time, skipping just 1 bath time change and it really starts to stink with a potent bacterial funky smell. There are no instructions. But we've exclusively used the nibs with the flat side, so there's like a small half ball pushing her hernia back in, and then we put the square tape over it. The cavity behind her belly button (the one you feel when you push the hernia back in with your fingers) has gotten smaller, and we took that as a sign to decrease the size of the nib we use. The tape can be really sticky (i lied there was only one instruction about the tape) so i apply to the back of my hand about 5 times (stick on, peel off, repeat) to decrease the stickiness that causes redness when it's removed later. The first time I applied this, I didn't peel and stick to remove some stickiness and it took off the top layer of skin in a few very small parts. So remove very gently with water, never "rip it off like a bandaid" so to speak.

I love that this bundle is so diverse

All the shapers Left marks around my belly button and the tape for them was the worst left my skin really irritated.
