I just got this for my 88 year old dad who struggles with the Dish network remote that has no less than 658 buttons, most of which never get used and just get in the way. I was skeptical because I’m not good at setting up complicated technical stuff and every time I buy something that says “works with most” whatever, it won’t with whatever I’ve got😂 But I must say practically right out of the gate this thing worked like a charm! Dads got a Vizio tv and that comes preset. Within seconds we had the set top box cooperating, and his favorite channels programmed in. He LOVES it! Just a few, simple, large buttons that he can easily handle. Highly recommend!

A great remote for the visually impaired, controlling both a TV and cable Set-top box at the same time without requiring the pressing of any additional function buttons in between. Appears to be pretty ruggedly built. Got this for my mother-in-law. Big buttons, and just a few of them so they are easy to find and operate. The hidden number pad and programming control keys is a great feature to limit potential user error. Ability to set the channel up/down control to simply scroll only through selected/programmed favourite channels is a very handy feature. Programming the remote control overall was easy. I programmed the TV controls on the remote to my Sony TV with code 3611 from the instructions (also in the provided code-list) and as I have a Rogers CISCO cable box, I found that the CISCO and Rogers code lists had 1294 in common and that code worked correctly first try. Within two minutes I had it fully programmed and the favourites set. Now, I hope it will be just as easy to reprogram for a Samsung TV and Cogeco Pace box at my mother-in-law's place. Highly recommended, and it will give her confidence to control her TV watching going forward.
