I chose this product because I love masks but wanted one that does not dry my skin out.It is a thin black substance that goes on easily and smells to me like chocolate!! Hurrah, it doesn't go all tight and dry on your skin but remains flexible.You remove it by rinsing after 15 minutes and hey presto really smooth skin with no hint of dryness.It has a special clay in it that does the detoxing called Heilmoor clay. It also has glycerine in which I really like as it is a substance that is found between the layers skin and was very helpful for my psoriasis once.This could well become a favourite of mine!!

This mud mask has quite a thin almost gel-like texture and is slightly grainy due to the added salt. It has a pleasant tropical pineapple coconut scent. Once applied it stays wet and doesn't dry, tighten or harden up so it feels pleasant on my skin. When I rinse off I can feel all the tiny grains of salt exfoliate my skin - the top ingredient after water is Sodium Chloride and I can even taste the salt when I'm rinsing it off. This is the first time I have tried a Helimoor clay based mask and I'm very impressed at how gentle but effective it is. Helimoor is a rare and very nutrient rich peat that results from herbs and plants that have been submerged under the ground for a long period of time. This peat is a dark substance that is known to be extremely beneficial for the skin – it takes plants and herbs thousands of years to produce it. After rinsing the mask off my skin doesn't feel at all dry or tight, it feels nourished and very smooth. I can notice the improvement in radiancy and clarity straight after using, my make up applies easier and my skin looks and feels smoother, healthier, firmer, toned and in a much better condition, perfect to use before a night out or a special occasion as you can see the difference. The large 100ml airless pump action bottle will last for ages.
