A good meal
A quality product. Takes a little longer than the instructions say to re-hydrate but it was a cold day.The pork and beans was a tasty meal and filled me up.I will be buying more in the future.

Good Flavour, But Potato Still Hard & More Expensive Than Other Brands
I’ve tried most of the brands of freeze dried meal on the market and Posh Pork and Beans was my first experience with a Firepot meal. Preparation is the usual case of filling the packet with boiling water to a designated line. Where this meal differed to others though is the time you need to leave it to rehydrate. Most meals I’ve used are about an 8 minute wait, but this Firepot one is pretty much 15 minutes. The downside to a longer wait means that you’ve got to keep it warm for longer, especially if out camping in chilly conditions. In terms of the actual meal itself, it had really good flavour and makes an interesting change to other breakfast options on the market. The one area it did suffer was that the cross hatched potato chips were in most cases still a bit hard. I think perhaps this might be the reason for the long rehydrate time. These seem to be more expensive than other brands and I’m a big fan of the Summit to Eat meals. I’d be tempted to try Firepot again, but might use more boiling water than the recommended line which perhaps might help things.

Brekky
Okay breakfast but very very sweet tasting so not savoury enough for my palate.

Reasonable but still some hard bits after 30 mins
Light to carry and minimum mess, however, some flavours better than others. Enjoyed the pasta, but the pork and beans still had tough bits despite being left for twice as long as recommended.Taste was reasonable.I'll stick with the brand but perhaps not the pork and beans.

Not nice
This tasted exactly the same as the beef stew. Like greasy lamb. Threw away after one mouthful. Yuck 🤢

Tasty
Firepot tend to be one of the better producers of these type of foods and this was quite tasty.
