Works well
This comes in a sturdy enough plastic box with a sealable envelope bag containing the embroidery silks and a small piece of fabric to practice with. It definitely needs an embroidery hoop which you have to purchase separately.I found the instructions unclear but quickly found a video online that showed how to thread the needle and it made sense and worked straight away. The largest needle is large enough to use scrap yarn as well as embroidery thread and that is a great help.The needle works well and it is quick and easy to replace the heads. The fabric supplied works well with the tool but there is no guidance for choosing other suitable fabrics. Again this information is easy to find online and I recommend using old clothes - particularly denim - to practice.I have given the set 4 stars as it works properly but I would have preferred a little more information.

Punch needle not fit for purpose rest of kit as described
The punch needle pen is bleh. Was able to repurpose the rest of the kit to use it for normal cross stitch but if your looking for a quick way to create that cross stitch effect this is not it

RUBBISH this is a cheap product that doesn’t do the job for which it was sold to do
Absolute RUBBISH please DO NOT BUY your waisting your money.....the punch needle pen is rubbish even if you tighten the screw on the side as tight as is humanly possible as soon as you punch through the material (proper cross stitch material I might add which I bought separately) the needle retracted back into the shaft of the pen it is utterly useless and is a complete waste of my money in my opinion also in my,husbands opinion too, which as we are on a pension I can ill afford to loose. Please if your wanting to learn how to use a punch needle don’t buy this kit. The threads were only just passable as acceptable quality is very poor ....... the rest was cheap plastic rubbish.

I bought this as a Christmas present so it is unopened, but it is exactly what I expected and am sure the recipient will love it.
