Good for the price
I've owned a few electric, electro-acoustic and acoustic violins. I wanted something I could mess around with on I'll days in bed with headphones on...plucking etc. However, the headphone connector really isn't good...So it isn't great for that although I finally got the third set of headphones to work! The sound quality through the phones is quite poor. The violin itself came in good condition. It looks great and I would buy again or recommend to new students - definitely! Now for the technical side. Please, please throw out the accompanying cable and buy a decent mini jack to Jack output. Actually, the violin would have been better built with a large jack to Jack but it isn't - so replace this first! If you do you will enjoy this violin 100% more.Comes with a nice set of accessories and although string quality isn't great I find you don't need excellent strings on an electric violin. Better investment than new strings would be an effects pedal. If you are buying this as a learner not wanting to annoy the neighbours then it's a good product.would I recommend Kinglos products to new students? Yes. So far! Cheap learner products at a decent price.Longer standing players like myself can adapt. Even though I've played 30 years I've never reached expert level. I love cute looking instruments and being more of a techie than an instrumentalist I recon a few good effects on this and bobs your uncle!

Its Quite nice and looks beatiful and sounds good
Its Quite nice and looks beatiful and sounds good. Only problem is the pegs will not hold the tune for weary long and they keep slipping up so i have to re tune it every 30 min. Other wise its quite beatiful instrument. Just recomend a different case since the one i got it in was quite flimsy.

Totally worth the price
The violin is great! It's perfect for practicing at odd hours, which is the main reason I purchased it. It has a pretty solid structure and is, in my view, totally worth the price. Looks exactly as in the pictures.(I'm an absolute beginner with the instrument, so please keep that in mind when considering what I think of it)What I like about the purchase:1. Comes packed well in a solid violin case (not the best), which ensured there was no damage on the items themselves.2. The violin itself feels like it is of really good quality, particularly the body.3. Haven't had a chance to plug it in an amp yet, but with earphones on, the tone you hear is very smooth.4. The package comes with a pretty decent shoulder rest (though I personally prefer not using it), and a very handy extra set of strings. Also an extra bridge.5. The seller is very responsive! What I do not like:1. The biggest one- it's being shipped from China, so if the customs declaration or invoice are not present on the package/illegible/incorrect, there is a near 100% chance it will be detained by customs officials. Enforcement has become much stricter in recent years given that mis-invoicing by sellers on international platforms is very common. So if the package is coming from another Asian country, and the declaration is suspicious or missing, it will be detained. In my case, it was just that the declaration form was smudged and unreadable, and so customs could not assess it properly without a copy of the original invoice. You could easily request the seller that they attach a clear declaration form and invoice to the package, they are quite helpful and quick to respond to any queries.2. The bow and rosin are terrible. The rosin is practically unusable, but the bow does its job.3. The fingerboard and scroll feel a bit fragile when held. They just feel lighter than expected, but what do I know4. The bridge is far too high, it is extremely uncomfortable to play the closer to the bridge you get. Needed to file it down a couple of mm before I could use it without hurting my hands. Second biggest con, to be honest. If you're lucky to have a decent store nearby, you could get someone to 'set it up'- change the bridge to something better, switch out the strings, reduce the action a bit, because out of the box it can be a little uncomfortable to play with. But if you're learning just for fun, like me, none of that would be necessary, and you could probably just file the bridge down on your own as well.In all, the back-and-forth with the customs office was worth it.

Works as advertised, no issues
Works as advertised, no issues; but you can tell its cheaply made the minute you see the plastic used on the preamp.

Avis

Great Practice Violin
OK, First the disclaimer. I am not a Violinist. I fiddle around with a Violin which is why I need all the practice I can get. I am also in a constant search for the perfect Student Violin that won't break my wallet. So far in vain. I have a plywood fiddle, a German no name fiddle and the one that was found in a closet that the local repair shop declined to touch. I wanted a silent violin so I could practice at night without annoying the family or local cats. Kinglos didn't have any reviews but I took a chance. I am glad I did. So here it goes.First the Cons:The case is the typical cheap case that comes with most Violins. I figure it has less than a year before a zipper goes. Less if it is for your child. The rosin, it is going to the plywood fiddle. I am using the gold fleck rosin. The bow...forget it. I am not sure that is even real horse hair. More on the bow in the pros. The bridges are soft, no named things that will be going also. Strings. The G broke before I could tighten it. Thankfully the Violin comes with a set of two. I will be upgrading those also. Now the Pros:Once I got the bridge on and the strings tightened the pegs held well. The bridge was fairly easy to position and of course I had to let the strings stretch a bit. I started by just plugging in the headset it comes with. The headset was nothing to write home about either but it did do its job. I started by thoroughly rosining the new bow. The sound was good but not great. I got out my graphite bow and oh man did the sound come alive. When unplugged you can hear the violin but you could go into your room (or send your child into his/her room) and no one else will hear it. With the head phones on you get a rich full sound that is currently better than any of my other Violins. I then plugged the Violin into my Orange practice amp that I use for my electric guitars. Great sound. Not full range so I am looking forward to putting it on my Acoustic amp and seeing what it could really do. Someone who wants to rock out could have a lot of fun with this Violin and effects pedals. One note on the volume on the Violin. It tops out at a very low level when using the headset. Not a bad thing if you are trying to protect your child's hearing. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase. I have only had the Violin for a couple of days so I can't speak to longevity. In reflection on the Cons I can't get too upset about the rosin, or strings. Strings should be changed out anyway and everyone has their favorite rosin. The bow was quite disappointing though. Why make such a good Violin and then cheap out on the bow and bridge. I will update this review if needed once I put some miles on the Violin.Good Bowing

just an honest review and thanks
Hello, I'm just honest, the material and the case it's excelent, the quality it's just perfect, buuuuut, meaby a big problem of design on how to tune the violin, ones it's on tune plays perfect for 10 min and then it's out of tune cuz the parts are just plastic and it's just holded by pressure, like even if you tide it up super hard after a couple minutes it's losses again, that's why I returned, I don't know if just main was broken but I did wants to try another one cuz it's just common sense that will be the same, that's just an honest review and thanks

Very good value instrument
We received this violin after a very long wait, but the seller was excellent with their service in keeping us up to date about the status. After receiving it, the sound is very good. It was slightly difficult to tune as the pegs needed to be set better, and it may need a bit more, additionally the color was just a bit off of the photograph. My daughter chose a traditional wood tone and the color was a bit more orange than the image online. But overall it appears this violin is very good value. It came well packaged, it was in perfect condition, and it sounds very, very good. Compared to others that cost quite a lot more, this electric option is well worth the money and a good starting point for a young musician.

Everything but the paint job.
I bought this as a practice violin so I can practice at night when everyone else is asleep. It works perfectly for that purpose.I like that the kit includes everything I needed to start playing right away (with the exception of a 9v battery.)Sure, the earphones are cheap and probably won't last too long, but that's a minor thing.I did knock off one star for the poor paint job. It is uneven, faded in spots, and there is a strange plastic "nub" that looks like melted plastic wrap in one spot.I thought about exchanging this one, but since it came from China, I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle, especially since the paint job has nothing to do with the functionality.I would recommend that if you want a quiet electric practice violin, you should get this one, but no exotic paint jobs (mine is zebra print.)

Cute, Quiet Violin with Nice Sound
I bought this violin as a beginner violin player who travels a lot. I use it to play in hotel rooms or when I don't want to be too loud in general and it works great for that. I usually don't use headphones, but if I do, the sound is pretty good- though the volume is low unless I plug it into an amp and then plug my headphones into the amp.I got a little cheap Honeytone amp to use with it and it works perfectly.

I like the violin but I do not know how I ...
I like the violin but I do not know how I should connect the headphones on and what kind they should be so I could hear the violin 's voice through headphones. I have tried to find some kind information for my problem. The red light is on but no sound. Is this function missing or have I done something wrong.

Nice violin
This is a very nice electric violin, well made and good sound. Lots of color/print choices ... I did replace the strings with good quality ones, and the bow that comes with it is low quality, but the violin itself is very nice, playability nice and the tuning pegs are well made.

Eh....
As beautiful as this is-I guess you get what you paid for. The rosin was absolutely horrible and the bow was worse. Easily replaceable but didn’t really want to spend any more money. It is what it is.

Good for just starting in the electric type
Great quality in the body and the case. The strings have a little to be desired as my daughter used hers for 3 performances and one of the strings broke.
