This is a great leash! It is very strong and durable. I was worried that the stretch of the leash would be like a bungie cord, but it only stretches to be the length of a normal leash and no further. The close-in handle is great for when my service dog and I are dealing with large crowds of people and I want her much closer to my side. The materials and construction of this leash are pretty high-quality, and should last a long time. My only concern (due to past experience, and not necessarily due to this leash itself) is that the "trigger clasp" on the end will wear out or break like I've had happen on other leashes...guess we'll see down the road.

Great item!! Long reach and very durable. The hand hold loop is really comfortable to hold and it looks really great!! The attachment clasp is easy to use, very sturdy and secure.Nice price on Amazon.

My dog is about 45 pounds, & this leash is great for him. He walks well on a leash, but this would definitely be great for somebody working with a pulling dog.

This is the 2nd leash I have bought, first one was for my older dog. These leashes have worked wonders for leash training a very "active" puppy that loves to pull. It has enough tension that when pulled it is not hurting or choking your dog, just makes it uncomfortable for them to hold that tension for long. The 2nd loop at the base comes in handy when other dogs or people are passing my dogs want to go say hi. It allows you to maintain exceptional control over your dogs movement and keep them keep them beside you. Would definitely recommend

I bought the 4' length leash for my golden retriever, for when we go on runs. The problem is the leash is only about 3.5 feet long when not stretched out. The bungee is pretty strong so the dog really needs to pull for it to extend to 4 feet. So basically the dog needs to be right next to your hip otherwise the leash is pulling. It says it is for small to medium dogs, but if you had a small dog i'm not sure it would even reach to their neck. I purchased the 6' one and am waiting for it to arrive, but I really don't see a use for the 4' length leash. Just too short.

Very awesome leash. My dog stays off leash mostly but, when I walk her I like to keep a very short leash. This is perfect for that. I just hold the lower handle and let the slack hang down. Seems made of good quality stuff.***updatethe quick release clip is not a quick release. its a little tricky. hard to release when dog is pulling. maybe only just slightly better than a regular design.

Worked great to stop pulling but broke when my dog darted after a squirrel. However, I have a 80+ Pitt/mastiff mix and I haven't found anything that he can't break, so can't rate this too harshly. It lasted about 4 months and the metal clip broke that attached to his collar, like the actual metal broke where it pivots.... Meh.

Love this leash!!Well made and the 'stretch' is nice to protect shoulders from a dog's sudden lunge or jerk.The lower handle is very convenient and the clip and hardware is great quality.Matches his harness perfectly.Highly recommended!
