Once upon a midnight dreary, whilst I pondered—weak and weary—on how to bedeck our dwelling with decor most spectral and strange, I chanced upon this curious item: the skeletal remains (in plastic cast) of that noble beast, the Dachshund.The advertisement, with ghastly precision, did not deceive—nay, every vertebra, every crooked rib and elongated spine, was rendered with an accuracy most chilling and divine. As promised, it arrived with punctuality most unearthly, borne forth on the wings of the infernal courier, precisely as foretold by the seller's proclamation.When at last we freed the creature from its cardboard tomb, my daughter—dear Lenore—did shriek with mirth, her small hands clapping like the wings of some jubilant raven. Never before have I witnessed such delight drawn from the grotesque; her heart, innocent yet filled with gleeful darkness, was overjoyed at the sight of this bony beast.We placed it at the hearth, where now it guards the threshold like a faithful spirit summoned from beyond. The leg was broke off when delivered. We’re going to try to reattach to prevent having to return. Overall though, its range of movement is awesome and it looks awesome!

This is made of sturdy materials and is the size of a dachshund. I love it. I didn’t realize until it arrived that you can move the legs, head, tail, jaw. It’s super cool.

No directions for assembling, but I finally figured it out. Life-size dachshund skeleton was our trick-or-treaters’ favorite decoration. I added a glow collar and small light to make it visible.

I'm so disappointed. Right out of the box I found the leg/hip joint broken with no way to repair it.The tail doesn't stay on, and neither does the head. The tail and head I'd be willing to glue into place, but there's no repairing the leg joint.

I ordered, sent back, replaced, same problem. Returned. The second time I checked and checked. It was broken and I had no way to fix it myself. Very disappointed. Overall I loved the dog but had to send it back for a refund.
