In the past, I've bought cheaper "gamer" racing chairs. They were comfier than sitting on a hardwood chair, but were rough to sit in for more than a couple hours. I bought this Colamy to try a more comfier chair with my height and weight in mind and its fantastic.The seat of the chair is cushy and comfortable, the head rest is wide, and the arm rest really tie it together. Its like sitting in a recliner almost.Somethings to note is that after periods of sitting in the chair, it retains body heat pretty well so might get sweaty on a hot day. The height adjustments for the chair don't feel significant.Some adjustments I made to the chair: I replaced the wheels with caster wheels that raise the chair about 2 inches higher. I also added quick detach system for the arm rests if I want to remove them.

This thing...someone cared. Someone cared when they designed it as it sits great for a 6'4" 350 LB guy and it was so simple to put together. It's built like you could set an anvil on it. Even something as simple as getting it out of the box someone cared, the parts, bolts, and pieces in the bottom of the box have an extra long bag on it just to pull it up outta there so you don't have to try to reach to what is addmitedly a big box. If I only had one gripe and its probably just because its such a massive chair it would be that I can't reach the spring tensioner while sitting in the chair but a guy pretty much does that once in a chairs life so not really an issue.

Update, I contacted customer support and the new chair they gave me is perfect, no defects at all and no cost to me. So I am changing my review from 1 to 5 stars since the chair is amazing.--------I bought this chair once before and decided to get another. It's a very comfy chair. I use it everyday for long hours at work no problem. Thanks to this chair I no longer have backpain at my job. I have worked 12 to 14 hour days at my desk and the chair did not cause any pain for me whatsoever. I decided to get one for the house. However this time it arrived with a gash in the seat. This thing is heavy so I am not going to bother to return it. For 200+ bucks I expect better. I have all the parts out and I am not going to try to put it back in the box. This was my birthday gift and they screwed me over. Sad!

First, Ill say that this chair offers good quality for the price. It's sturdy and stylish. Putting it together was straightforward and quick. Took me about 20 minutes. I purchased the higher quality inline skate wheels and I'm glad I did. These after market wheels are an essential upgrade in my opinion. Not only do they roll better, but they won't scratch your wood floor like the stock wheels would. I highly recommend spending a little extra for these wheels for a superior experience.Now the bad... The packaging for this chair is terrible. Mine arrived with both the top and bottom of the box open. In fact, I'm fairly certain this was a return item that was resold as new. The poorly affixed packing tape was the kind of cheap packing tape that you buy at Office Depot. My box was obviously resealed by someone in with little experience in how to seal a box properly. Upon examining the contents, I found that all the parts were inside. I'm amazed that everything was there. When I picked up the box on my porch, the contents spilled out of the bottom. I stood there looking at a pile of chair parts. Since nothing was missing or broken, I went ahead and assemble it. I decided to keep it because it appears to be unused and in like new condition. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I'm a BIG man with a BIG ass and this chair fits me good.

This was a chair that took up a lot of space in front of my desk. It looked like it would be a large chair but once I sat in it and used it a few times, it ended up being a chair that felt like it was designed for smaller people to enjoy a large chair. As a 6 foot 6, 260 pound guy, this chair is NOT comfortable to use more than a minute or three. The stats say it can be good for a 400 or 500 pound person, but that cushion flattens out quick. Once used for a few days, it is a flat seat that has an annoying push to my hips and upper thighs. The size measurements says one thing, but the back of the seat is a different size than the front. The width of the seat stated is not the same as experienced. The stated height of the seat is not the same as when you sit on it and the cushion deflates inches. The shoulder space is not what I expected. Fully extended, the headrest was not high enough. It was digging into my back just under my shoulders. Not a pleasant experience. I would like to express one like,however, I did find the armrests sufficient. Once my arms and body length aligned however, it was not comfortable. My shoulders and arms felt higher than what I've been ergonomically trained to accept. I work in an office environment, and I will not accept less than baseline at home.

Its okay, its not terrible. Not the worst chair I've ever had but its already leaning in the front. Its not very stable, save your money and buy a herman miller, or something similar.

The COLAMY Big and Tall Office Chair 500lbs-Heavy Duty Leather Computer Executive Desk Chair exceeded expectations and made for a great gift this holiday season. It was easily assembled, is not over-sized for the room it was to be used in, and is super-comfy! The leather is very high quality, is supposed to be resistant to cracking and wear (which is one of the problems we had with our last one) and is very smooth and comfortable (padding is very thick on the seat itself as well as the armrests). I love it and I would buy another of the same type if need be in the future.

I was purchasing a new office chair for my spouse and the most important things were cushion and comfort above all else. I researched chairs for days and then came upon this. My spouse is around 225 pounds at 5’5” and has had nothing but great things to say about the functionality and comfort of the chair. It was said it took quite a while to put it together, but to be fair I am usually the one that puts these kinds of things together. Sitting in this chair for a full workday or longer seems to be no issue!
