I used to live where it rain 13+ feet a year, then took my wife on a cruise and the chance of rain was a possibility, so Helly Hansen was the only one I buy. The Best!!!

Mostly works. Price was right. I’m 74 years old, 6 ft and 195 lbs. I’m a huge HH fan. I have a 40 year old HH water/wind resistant running suit I’m still using. I needed a rainproof jacket for a series of hikes Im doing this fall, because my 40 year old REI parka delaminated. The HH large was a little bit too small and the extra large a little bit too big. I went w extra large because sometimes I’ll need a fleece or sweater layer underneath.Just wore it out in the rain for 15 minutes. Dry as a bone. Not a perfect test, but the best I can do until hiking for hours in a steady rain shows it works or fails. TBD.If anyone from Helly Hansen reads this, please add a Velcro tab or neck collar pocket to stow the hood. There is a Velcro tab, but for helmet adjustment. Im not skiing. Not useful for me.

This waterproof jacket works great. It is light weight so you can wear it in the summer or put on a warm pullover and then add this jacket. Definitely worth the money.

It is a quality and versatile jacket.I was already familiar with their sizing, so I was able to order the right size.Proper sizing choices are what makes ordering clothing online so difficult.I have several Helly Hansen jackets and would recommend them to anyone I care about.

I've bought two of these coats and have been very satisfied with them with no complaints. As a shell it performs as it should and living in the Northwest, I need reliable gear.
