Superb piece of kit for the money
Update: Accfly Support are very helpful. They respond quickly and always keen to give an excellent level of support.A few bits that I hope you might find useful.Dual band wifi:I have a BT Smart Hub, it works by default on a dual band capability of 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. The camera may not work with dual band. Following simple instructions on the BT website, I logged onto my router and split the Wi-Fi so that there are 2 SSIDs, the default being the current SSID and the 5Ghz now getting it's own new SSID. It's very straightforward so dont be scared! The Kit:The Camera appears well made and arrived well packaged. Included instructions, they are not ideal but enough to get you by on. You can rely on your intuition to fill in the gaps :)The power supply lead is about 1m long. I ran a power supply close to the camera location which is near the apex of my garage roof. You'll have to drill a 22mm hole if want to pass all 3 cables through the wall.Getting the camera working:I downloaded the LiveYes app and created an account. I unscrewed the plate on the camera and inserted the 64Gb Class 10 SD card (purchased separately) and powered the camera up, I was able to access the camera from my phone connecting to it (temporarily) as a hotspot. I changed the camera password (only use numbers and letters, no special characters). I then configured the camera to use my home network. At that point there was a firmware update offered for the camera. I bit the bullet and clicked to install it. It stated the password would revert to factory settings but I did not find that to be the case. The upgrade took a couple of minutes. It functioned fine after the upgrade. The camera makes sounds as it restarts so don't panic.Software info:The web app for phone is LiveYes e.g for Android download from Google Playstore. The LiveYes software for Windows is downloaded from http://liveyes.cn and works fine on Windows10.Configuration:I used the phone app to format the 64gb SD card to FAT32. It's a simple button click on the app and takes about a minute to complete.I enabled Smart Detection, and selected High sensitivity and enabled Push Notifications. I then started to get lots of alerts on my phone. I then turned it down to Low. If you have anything that can move in the wind then you will still get motivations you can mute them on Android phones. The phone app allows you to review live feed (using home wifi and 4G connections). You can also look at any alert notifications and review the timeline recordings (mine is set to record 24/7), you get one video for every 10 minute time period. All very simple and slick. You can delete recordings from the phone and pc apps. You can save recorded video from the camera to your pc.Obviously it's only day one, but as long as the camera does not fail, I can highly recommend this camera. The picture quality (day and night) is superb even if you turn it down from full HD.Hope this helps any prospective purchasers.

Brilliant camera - but make sure you protect the antenna from rain
Update: excellent customer service. Replacement was very easy - was refunded instantly and so was able to order replacement which arrived very quickly as did the original order. I have worked out what the problem is with the WiFi signal degrading, which reading other reviews others have suffered from too - although the camera itself is IP65 rated, the antenna attachment is only protected by how tightly you screw in the antenna. Since you need to wiggle this around to get a good signal it is a little loose by the time you've finished, hence water can get in, and then the connection is ruined. Before installing the replacement camera I waterproofed the antenna connection using ACF-50 (standard water replellent for aircraft maintenance, but vaseline will do almost as good a job). I have waited several weeks before updating the review to check that this solves the problem, and despite some horrendous weather in the last few weeks the camera has been faultless. Thorougly recommend. I feel I can only give four stars due to the need to waterproof the connection, but close to giving it 5 as it is a great camera for the price, and the customer service was so good. Regarding the IR floodlamp I purchased separately, I have now uploaded an image showing the view from the camera with the floodlight on. It not only gives much more even lighting, it also seems to draw most of the bugs away from the camera itself, which prevents too many false alarms on the motion detection.Original review:This is an amazing camera for the money. However like all the wifi camera reviews you read, it does have a very poor wifi signal. I found that the only way to get a decent video stream was to have direct line of sight between my Wifi router and the camera. That meant quite a lot of re-arranging and I had to put it right by a window, but it did mean I had a 2 Megapixel camera set up without having to drill any holes through the wall of my house and then route huge lengths of cable into awkward places. All I needed to do was feed the power cable through a nearby window to the nearest power socket, which is actually quite neat (see picture). I guess it may not work with all windows, there is a fairly thick rubber seal on the one in the picture. It's also true that the cable isn't that long so need to be pretty close to the window to be able to do this. The picture is excellent, even at night, but the infrared light is very much a spotlight, not a floodlight (see picture). This is ideal if you have e.g. a car to monitor as one of the other reviewers has posted, but not so good for a garden. However I bought a 12 LED IR floodlamp and that has made all the difference (that camera appears to be standard 850nm infrared). Unfortunately I can't easliy show you what a difference the floodlight has made as it rained heavily today and now the camera signal is completely awful. Whereas before you would get the odd frame dropped or maybe even lose video for a few seconds, it's now the other way round. Most of the time no video, occasionally you get a picture briefly before it loses connection again, so I am returning it. I was however very happy with the camera before it developed this fault, so will buy another one with the refund money and screw it into the same spot on the wall! One other thing to note, when I tried to download the app it said my phone was too old, so I had to do all the setup manually. The good news is you can do it, however it needed quite a bit of tech know-how. On the plus side if you do configure it manually on the cameras webpage (username: admin, password: 123456), you can set up all sorts of things that evidently aren't available through the app, including connecting it to a WPA2 secured network. I certainly wouldn't want to use this camera if it meant I had to disable my WiFi security!

I'm going to buy more of these!
I put off buying this camera because it seemed too good to be true but it really is as good as it sounds! Good solid construction and the picture quality is excellent. I'm not at all technically minded by I'd say this is no more difficult to set up than installing a new home router. If I could do it I'm pretty certain anyone can. The audio is very good too. The microphone is very clear and the speaker produces a decent volume so there's no straining to hear or be heard.Just a few minor imperfections which I'll mention but none of this is by any means major which is why I still gave it a five star rating. The instructions are a little unclear but between the leaflet, the app and a little common sense it isn't difficult to work through the few basic steps required. As said my several reviewers already, the motion detection is very sensitive and on low setting I'm still getting a lot of notifications. I very quickly had to turn off the sound notification. Also the app stopped working when I went out of WiFi range but this might have been a one off or might be because I haven't inserted the SD card yet. I'll need to check on this but I only fitted it yesterday so haven't had a chance to look into this further. Update. Having now had it up and running for two days the issue re notifications seems to be with the app which has glitches on my phone but seems to be running fine on my tablet. I'd suggest the manufacturer needs to look at this.Having tested how good this is I now intend to but in another couple of these to cover the back of the house.A great security system at an amazing price.
