I used these pens with cookie stencils and they worked pretty well. I’m just a beginner so someone with experience could probably do better. I did find, for stenciling, it was easier to control if I put some paint on a plate and dipped the brush in the paint. Otherwise, I got some unwanted globs.

Didn't care for the taste at all, was hoping it would be more bland. but when combined with other flavors it's easily forgotten so won't be an issue.The system to get the paint to come out is absolutely annoying. you keep turning it and nothing appears to happen then all of a sudden a bunch of paint will pop out. I had a hard time getting it dialed in. you also have to keep turning to keep using it.

We use other edible glitter products and none have tasted as bad as this does.We used them to make designs on a birthday cake and had to scrape them off to eat.

I would only use this edible paint pen on cakes or possibly cupcakes since the sweetness of the cake should overpower the not-so-great taste of this "edible" paint. I would be afraid that the taste of this edible paint may overpower a small cookie and ruin the taste.I'm not opposed to using this for decoration, but it's not a sweet addition to any baked goods.

They say this is edible, but it doesn't taste good, and there are a lot of warnings not to use too much. While this product is fun in concept, it was a little finicky and messy to use, and I didn't know if it's possible to get it to come out professional looking. That said, with practice you might be able to achieve some interesting designs on your baking.

I got this set for another project but wanted to try em out as soon as they arrived. I used a store bought cookie with icing. The pens took about 50 turns to get the edible paint to flowing. The paint brush tips were a little intimidating at first, but the more I practiced the intimidation wore off. The metallic pens are flavorless and odorless (was thinking they may have a sweet taste). The metallic really shows the more it dries. All in all, they did great. I would recommend this!
