Making CarPlay wireless on compatible OEM head units
I bought this to enable wireless CarPlay on my Prado 2020. It fits into the only USB slot available in the car neatly instead of dangling unsightly.It work flawless most of the time but occasionally the sound gets muted and it needs a Bluetooth disconnect and connect to remove the mute. Otherwise it brings CarPlay to the otherwise primitive AV unit with outdated maps provided by Toyota and this is such an improvement.
