Gongniu Bull Extension Board - 3 Socket, 3 Switch, 3 M Wire (White, 2500W), 250 Volts

This is very well built but at the same time not heavy at all. I have a Cona 4+4 extension board which is also fairly good but this time I needed fewer sockets and shorter wire length to connect TV, settop box and have one more socket free. To be clear, I bought the Bull 3-socket one that comes with 1.5m wire (the Cona came with 5m long wire). The push button switches are what made me prefer this item instead of other brands like Cona, Anchor, GM, etc.The sockets are very tight and we would need to apply some pressure to insert any plugs. Once the plugs go in completely, there would be no chance of them falling out even if held upside down. There's one indicator for the mains supply that lights whenever the mains is switched ON. Each socket gets its own indicator as well that lights up when we push the rocker switch down. When ON, this switch stays down and to switch OFF, we push it further that releases the switch back up - kind of like click pens. As the product images indicate, the sockets accept almost all types of plugs so there's no headache of buying pin adapters.I want to hang this onto the wall so I needed keyhole slots at the back. This was missing in the Product Specs but I took a risk and bought it. Luckily there is but only on one side - the side the wire goes in. And it is not bidirectional so it can be used only to hang this thing horizontally (I uploaded a couple images for reference). The other side has a hang hole/clip that is visible in the product images - this can be used if you need to hang this vertically. For hanging it horizontally, we anyway need both but I would have preferred both at the back so that the screw heads are not visible.Function-wise, there's not much to write about. It works well as expected and feels like it will last a good amount of time. Note that there is no surge or spike protection in this. And this is definitely a little pricier than say Cona or Anchor - I got the Cona 4+4 one with 5m wire for only ₹26 more than this. I am happy with both but if I have to pick only one, then I would go with Bull for its better build.

This is my second power extension cord from this company - I have the older version with the blue switches and I love it.This new version seem to be a nice design upgrade and looks more refined. Although this doesn't come with surge protection.Pros.● Great finish and build quality - easily among the best● Compact● Individual switches and indicator makes it very convenient● Plugs are universal● Contact quality seems very good● Switches seem robust and not looseCons● No surge protectionOverall, I am really happy with this new version of the Bull extension. It looks more refined than the already good blue switch version. I got it for Rs. 315/- during an Amazon Lightening Deal - that makes it even better!!! If you can buy during sale it's unbeatable value of money!

I have been using Gongniu (Formerly Bull) Extension Board for more than 3 years and is the best extension board I have ever used (when compared to GM, Belkin and Philips extension boards)Here are the Top positives I found for this product:1) Individual switches for each socket: Not many extension boxes come with Individual switches and for those who are looking for such a box, Bull extension boxes are a great choice.2) Enough space between individual socket: There is ample space between each socket hence even if you have an oversized plug like a phone charger with a wide adapter, you still can use the other sockets without any trouble.3) Excellent build quality: The box feels very premium built and the switches also feel very sturdy.4) Reasonably priced: When compared to other brands, the pricing is reasonable for the sturdiness and individual switch features.What I would love to see changed in future versions:1) Inbuilt USB charging port: Almost all brands now have an extension box that comes with a USB port. I hope Bull also releases an extension box that has individual switches + extra 2 USB ports with fast charging and normal charging outputs.2) Switch design: Maybe the ON-OFF switch could follow the design of regular switch rather than the press down version.3) More color options: BLACK, please.

I recently bought a Gongniu 4 socket extension board for my desktop and other peripherals and was very satisfied with the quality of it. So went ahead and bought this one too.It feels very sturdy, the sockets have good holding strength (have inserted many types of plugs, didn't found any loose). The wire is decently long and of good quality, so expect it to handle a little abuse easily. The board gets a little warm on heavy use for extended periods of time (using around 2200W of its 2500W capacity) and thats normal. Always remember to calculate the total wattage and current (in Amps) of devices you'll be plugging into the extension board and keep it below the maximum rated output.Conclusion: This is a good brand with quality products, go for it!

This is a good quality extension board (EB) from a Chinese company that is existence for nearly 25 years. It's dimensions are 7.75"(L)x3.25"(B)x1"(W). The product has the following positives -1) it's build quality is really good with soft flexi-cable of variable lengths2) the sockets have provisions for multi-type plugs which could be easily inserted and removed3) a separate on/off switch (push type) for each socket and therefore devices plugged can be controlled independently4) the product's packaging is really good which leaves a very little scope for any external damageThe only feature that's missing in this type is a USB port.This company also manufactures lot of home automation plugs, sockets and other devices. Therefore the seller may consider introducing them in our markets.
