There were no functional issues with the AE1200 strap. It did its job and held up well without issue. However, the sharp 24mm to 18mm taper against a 42mm case width created an off-balance appearance. This strap resolves that with its taper limit increased to 20mm.The blank (no embossed print) leather gives this specific model a cleaner look and the “boxier” shaped metal buckle and keepers made it preferred. Of note, as others have mentioned, the nylon feels thinner and stiffer than comparable straps, but considering its also comparatively lower cost and the low cost of the AE1200, the complaint should be short lived. Recommended for any AE1200!

Works absolutely great with a Casio AW-80. Fit perfectly and an easy install. Should work out just fine.

It was a little challenging to install on my Casio WR but I've been wearing it for several months and I am pleased with the look and fit.

Really thin but does the job well

I can’t believe this band for this price. I ordered it because it fit my style. I just received it and not only is it a gorgeous band, it is well made and very comfortable. I can hardly feel that I'm wearing anything. The stitching is good and seems it will last a while and the nylon is good quality. I’m very satisfied. Recommended for anyone trying to step up their watch game.

This watch band came with tools to install which was nice. Easy to install and perfect fit at a great price.

Likes: none.Dislikes:- very cheaply made. I know its only a $10 strap, but it's not worth $2. Cheap hardware, paper thin buckle and extremely stiff. Not sure what the band is made of. I've worn nylon straps half my life; NATO's, Parachute's, ZULU's etc and have NEVER had a problem as far as reaction to my skin. Had this on for 20 minutes and my wrist broke out in a rash.- spring bars are way too thin for the pre-sewn spring bar holes in the strap. If you decide to go with this, USE THE ORIGINAL spring bars. After 45 minutes of struggle to get this on my watch I finally realized that. Took longer to install then was actually on the watch. Sent back for refund. NOT A GOOD STRAP.
