I love it!
This e-drum kit is just great. As a beginner, this kit has everything one might need. The touch pads are extremely durable and have been working perfectly for the last 2 years without any problems even after some hard hitting sessions. The pads are extremely responsive and support fast and dynamic playing.Only thing that could have been better is the sound of the bass drum, it feels a little dry. But that's not enough to reduce the 5 star rating. :)

Got one defected cymbal pad.
Got one defective cymbal. It makes a sound even if some other cymbal or pad is touched. Ruined the whole experience.

Excelente!

Great quality kit - but you need to think about the 'extras' too!
As an absolute beginner to drumming I didn't want to spend a fortune but also wanted something that was good quality. I did my research and went for this one. I've had it for almost a year and am really pleased with it. It's easy to set up and adjust, the metronome is really useful, 15 different kits so there's lots of variety in the sounds it can make. The standard looping music tracks it comes with for practice aren't great (mostly a bit cheesy, but good for building stamina because they literally never end), but you can plug in any mp3 player using a standard aux cable. Recommend setting up the kit on a rug or non-slip surface - the bass pedal tends to slide around on my wooden floor! The only difference between this kit and the TD-1K kit is the mesh head snare. I don't regret spending a bit more for it - the mesh head feels a lot more like a real drum. I've never plugged the kit into an amp so I can't say anything about that but I will say that the choice of headphones is important. You can use standard headphones with a 3.5mm jack but the regular short leads you get with most earbuds etc will interfere with your sticks! Ideally you need a 3m lead. Also, a snug fit on the ears, or you will struggle to hear the closed hi hat on some of the settings. After a few different ones I have settled on Roland RH5s which aren't stupidly expensive but do the job very well. You'll also need a 'drum throne' or at least somewhere suitable to sit and some sticks. I know it sounds obvious, but these are additional costs you have to factor in. I bought a cheap bundle of Basix sticks (various lengths and thicknesses) as I had no idea what size I would want to use. Having found the right size for me, I have bought others that are more comfortable in my hand, but you have to try a few different sizes to decide what's best for you. As for how quiet the kit is for others in the household, I have my kit on the ground floor so no problems with sound carrying from the bass pedal but I suspect if it were upstairs, it would be annoying to people downstairs. The sound of the drums themselves is no louder than hitting plastic, but you can make quite a noise if you're really getting into it. So, if you're thinking of buying an electronic kit as a present for someone, don't expect it to be silent! Way quieter than acoustic drums though, obviously...

Great kit!
Brilliant, if you're a beginner and want to learn how to drum but at the same time don't want to annoy your family and neighbors, this kit is perfect. I've had this for about 4 months now and use it almost daily. It has a very nice design and pretty good, especially for what you pay for since electric kits are very expensive. Definitely worth it and I recommend this!
