Hey gamers, this Asus vg248qe is for you folks. If anyone wanting this for editing or office work please refrain from buying this. I'm saying this because such work doesn't require 144hz ref rate and 1ms response time. Aur fir aankhein bhi kharab karoge 😆It's a true gaming monitor with great features like realtime crosshair placement in games. 1ms response time is super and 144hz gives you smooth mouse movement.Remember, if you buying this, your GPU should be capable of giving the same render rate like upto 100 or 144hz render rate to your monitor. Otherwise no matter you set it at 144 or 100hz. If you are using 1050ti , it doesn't going to give you a smooth performance. Because in latest games the GPU won't push above 65hz render rate that matches the monitor's ref rate and chances are you will encounter with image tearing and lag.If you are planning to upgrade your card to 1060 6gb or above, this monitor gives you mindblowing performance and smoothness.For the cons, the screen has too much brightness so I recommend you not using it for heavy hours, give your eyes some rest in between.You can also change color modes in it, has almost 6 diff color modes Osd has good options to set the monitor's colors and contrast as per your taste.Bulit quality is solid, the back bracket for cable management is quite worthy.The monitor is height adjutable and tiltable to certain degree, yoy should avoid monitors those do not have heigh adjustable function. Just because most of the gaming monitors have TN panels and so it's necessary to adjust them as per your eye level so that you can avoid washing out colors.You can rotate it to 45 degree left and right.So it's all from my point of view friends, have queations? Asus Vg248qe has been in the market for some time now nearly 5 years but hasn't lost its shine in this segment. Had an issue in delivery but Got the product well packaged an all the in box items were found in order. Display is crisp and gaming on this flawless. Colours are smooth and settings can be changed easily via OSD menu which is easily operatable by buttons under screen. Height adjustment is also butter smooth.For getting 144hz Dual link Dvi or display port is needed. (Dual link Dvi is included in box).

This is the best budget monitor with 144 Hz/1ms at a good price point, use DVI-dual link cable for 144 refresh rate. (adjust refresh rate in the display settings, you need to adjust settings even in the game don't forget that)Use below settings to get the best claritySettings:-Theater mode-Contrast = 83-Saturation = 42-Color temp = user mode with all three set to 83-Skin tone = natural-Sharpness = 50-Trace Free = 40-ASCR = On

144Hz looks smoooth.Remember the new buyers you need a good graphics card to push those frames or you wouldn't experience the full potential of this monitor .Its top notch for the price and for a TN panel the colours are actually pretty impressive.The thing i didn't like about this monitor is the 3D logo at the base screaming at my face , like come on Asus I understand it has nVidea 3D but that doesn't need to be perma printed and it doesn't include a Display port cable with it .

The pros firstThe quality of the display is off the charts and the gaming feel is unbelievable.The stand is adjustable and can be easily adjusted according to your needs.The consAs the monitor is quite old i could not find a windows 10 driver for it.The do not provide a display port cable along with it which sucks because new motherboards don’t have vga ports now a Days .I bought it for 22900 and the price dropped to 22000 just after a couple of days which sucks.

No words for this monitor. 144hz is a boon. Perfect for FPS and other games. My gaming skills actually improved.

I did lot of research and came down to this one finally, I had BenQ and LG in the same range but this one is pretty Awesome. Interestingly, this monitor is used by few Pro-gamers too, AIMBOT Calvin who streams overwatch uses the same monitor. Go for it without any second thoughts, 144 Hz is just like God Mode !!
