We had a moderate/severe infestation. I wanted to wait a solid month before writing a review. I bought this on March 18th and used it next day on the 19th. It's now April 25th and we are still lice free. Was so easy and took an hour and they were dead.Before we started, I combed out some live ones with a good lice comb, and put the product on them so I could see it working. They were dead within 10 min.I will say that I did not use the shampoo except for one time right after. We are still lice free. I was kinda lazy combing them out too.I have medium thick hair that is down to my butt and did use the whole bottle. I could've left about 1/4 of the bottle but I used it all just in case.I was nervous it wouldn't work and couldn't believe it worked so well! Can't recommend enough!

I read the reviews before buying and some are negative and say it doesn’t work. But I was desperate and needed something so with hope I bought it. I had been fighting these little things for 2 years. This product worked amazingly for my 3 kids since the first use. No lice at all, no more hatching. Even my hairdresser asked me what I used because my girl’s head was so clean it didn’t even looked like she had lices before. It’s been two months and they are still clean. I recommend.

After struggling to get rid of lice in my child's hair since November 2023 and trying numerous lice treatments and home remedies, I decided to purchase this lice kit. We applied the gel as per the instructions, and have been shampooing her hair everyday as per the instructions. We are now on day 4 of shampooing (instructions says to shampoo for 7 to 10 days), and my daughter has been constantly itching everyday like she did before using the treatment. So it doesn't seem to be working thus far, but we'll continue on with the shampooing and see what happens....Update:So this product DEFINITELY works! After using this product, my daughter was still scratching her head, but when I combed through her hair, no lice was found. The scratching might have been due to dry scalp. Anyhow, on day 6 of shampooing, I hired a professional lice lady to go through my daughter's hair to ensure that all lice and eggs were gone. She found five remaining eggs and removed them, and then treated her hair. So the product works 95%, as we would've had to do a second treatment with Licefreee due to the lice that would have hatched. So I'd suggest buying at least two boxes per person... Just in case.

My daughter keeps getting lice from school, she had soo many, one application tonight and she had so many dead ones coming out!! Even the newly hatched babies!!!!!!! On the shower cap there was one dead one!! I was shocked!My son only had babies i couldnt find the adult. but good thing i wore a white shirt i found many dead adult bodies on there! so far it has worked wonderfully!!!!I tested myself- Clean thank goodness haha, i will update in 7 days to see if it helped or if i need two treatments, I do have some left in the treatment bottle.So far so good, normally I get the more expensive one like My Hair Helpers but I am struggling so I went with this one and the expensive one it was too oily for me and got everywhere. The applicator this one came with made it so much easier!

A week ago to my horror, my daughter came to me said her head was itching after her shower. I get out my nit comb and yeah, she had lice. I got as many as I could find out. Check my son, he had the starting of lice. One large louse and some eggs. Checked myself and found nothing thankfully. We ran to the store and grabbed about 80$ USD in supplies. Two of these kits, a separate lice shampoo by Vamousse, a RID lice kit and some spray for the mattress that gets rid of lice and bed bugs.We treated hair immediately, everyone in the home. While it sat on our heads, we stripped every bed and put stuffed animals into bags on the porch. (Weather here is 17 degrees at night right now.) We washed every blanket in the house. Sprayed the mattresses, the couch etc We have used lice shampoo everyday since. We treated with the gel on Sunday, Tuesday, and again today on Sunday since it's been a week and we are lice free! I haven't found anything in the kids hair since Monday and that was dead eggs and baby lice. If you are diligent, you can get rid of them in a couple days.I did have to go and get two more packages of Licefreee in order to be able to treat hair today. So that's 4 kits in total for 2 kids and 2 adults. I have three feet of hair, so I have to use a lot for myself.I can't say much on the RID option as I only tried it once on Tuesday on my son. It was greasy though but only had to sit for 15 minutes versus 60 with Licefreee. I am super happy with the outcome and how easy this kit made treating lice. I just wish they sold separate large bottles of the licefreee gel. I have so much lice shampoo because it comes with the kit and nit combs, I am set for awhile.

I will never use anything else. Before I got this I tried the Mayo method, Nix, Olive oil overnight and was combing out live bugs after each try: if they’re alive then they can run which means you’re not going to get them all. Used this and combed out dead bugs and it was actually fairly easy to comb through my son’s very curly hair.
