Spoons are not a particularly interesting utensil and of all the components in a canteen of cutlery, along with the butter knife, which I have never seen the point of, the humble tea spoon is one of the least fascinating items.Until now that is. The makers of this product have taken the tea spoon and given it a 21st century twist. These are great looking spoons that are edgy and contemporary and would not be out of place on the table of a funky restaurant that serves lobster thermidor with a raspberry coulis . They are stainless steel with a titanium coating that makes them reflect light such that each one looks different even though they are all the same. You can get some snazzy looking purple tints and green and blue shades too if you hold them near the light. And yes, they can be used for stirring coffee or tea or even hot chocolate or used to eat ice cream or yoghurt straight for the pot if that's your thing.I have washed them a couple of times in the dishwasher and the colouring is unblemished.
