I had been using another brand of this type of product – it was fine. I ordered this one on a whim (out of curiosity). I must say that I am really thrilled with this one. The fabric is much softer and the velcro straps are positioned in a way that allows the device to close more fully (and more comfortably) around my neck.Early on, the bulb became disconnected from the hose. I was able to easily attach it. However, I found that if I left it unattached, I could simply blow into the hose and the device filled in only one or two breaths – in seconds rather than minutes. I am not a germ phoebe, but this method may not appeal to others who are. The bulb is durable and well constructed, but I am choosing to keep it in a drawer.So far, I have not had a problem with leakage. I have had it less than a month, but use it several times a day – it really helps when my hands become numb.Hope this helps. I will be ordering more and will alert my chiropractor (from whom I bought the other brand) to this product.

This is a unique and helpful item, but was not comfortable at all, and it got very hot, very quickly. The plastic is just too sharp. Herniated discs are already in enough pain....they don't need extra hits! LOL. Will rely on my chiropractor's decompression machine and my inversion machine when needing decompression. I truly think that yoga, posture, awareness, and being careful have helped my neck a lot. Luckily, so that I didn't need to use this more. Really don't like it. Disappointed.

Excellent seller! The device is perfect for anyone trying to reduce pinched nerves. I’ve suffered with herniated discs in my neck. I’m a runner and my discs flare up causing my nerve pain. A neurosurgeon told me I may never run again and wanted to do surgery. I refused and went to my chiropractor who recommended this to me. I’m running the NYC Marathon in Nov, so I’m pretty happy with my decision. I bought one for my MIL with arthritis and she is telling me it is helping her.

I hope I'm not speaking too soon but I just received mine today and I felt instant relief during my first use.I suffer from a pinched nerve in my neck which causes pain in my left shoulder and arm. I recently began therapy and I felt this would be a good addition to my visit to the chiropractor.It comfortable and easy to use.But it does bring laughs, too.Nevermind that, though.It's worth it.

This is a very simple way to relieve a painful neck. You pump it up for your comfort level and keep it on about 15". For me, that's enough to stretch my neck out enough to relieve pressure on a nerve. If it's really hot and humid, it might be slightly irritating, but I have sensitive skin, and usually it's OK.

I have a neck injury to upper cervical area and physical therapy included gently pulling my head away from my neck to relieve the compaction/pressure. Now that PT is over, this item very closely imitates the PT and this is part of my daily/weekly pain relief. I absolutely love this and it's made a huge difference in my recovery.
