At room temperature approximately 50% of ultimate bond strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours. Most surfaces are best prepared by cleaning with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and water prior to applying 3MTM VHBTM Tapes in order to achieve maximum bond. For best results, it's recommended to apply even pressure to the tape with a roller. Applications : Automotive applications include: side visor, wheel weight, personalization logo, spoiler, gas doors ornamentation, additional mirror, wind seal, etc. General applications include: mounting of mirrors, signs, nameplates, hooks and soap dispensers as well as mounting of reflectors and signs; filling and sealing gaps around windows, doors, and automotive tops for better insulation.
