UPDATE: It's been a few days since putting this stuff on our couch. It's holding up ok. It needs to be stickier though. I guess our cats are just really aggressive scratchers bc there are sections that need to be restuck on to the couch. Overall they're holding up though and the cats don't like them as much as the couch, but they are still clawing on them. Will update again after a while if I remember.Got this for our leather/faux leather couch bc our cats are using it for a scratching post.This stuff was easy to cut and stick to the problem spots. It's not the prettiest or anything, but neither were all of the claw marks.Not sure how well or long it will last, but we'll find out and I'll be back to update the review.Until then though.Easy to cut to the right shape. Easy to stick and the stickiness is enough to stick, but not too much that you can't move it around if you need to. No idea if it will leave residue, but that's not really a concern right now.

It definitely works to protect the couch for a while. However, since it is not plastic material, my cats have shredded right through it back down to the couch. I am going to have to remove it and replace it with something else since they can get right through this material.

I used it to replace the sisal rope on my cat tree. It is perfect! The adhesive is very strong!

Easy to use and protects your furniture. I used it for the corners of my couch and the product is durable and customizable to any shape. My cats went insane for it.

This product is terrible… absolutely does NOT do what it states. The “stickiness” only lasts a day, and it does not stay on the furniture or wall. Awful.

The cat has taken to scratching the back of my mother-in-law's recliner. It's a motorized lift recliner that helps her get up, so we were very upset about the cat fixating on scratching the back.Ordered this to see if it would help, and I'm so glad we did! We cut a length of this equal to the width of the back of the chair (where the cat was scratching). It stuck very well to it, and covers up the tattered area that was already damaged. Looks a little different to have a gray stripe on the back of the chair, but looks MUCH better than the scratched up material that it's covering.It's been on the chair now for almost a month, and it's still sticking without a problem. The cats seem to prefer that material to the rest of the chair, as they haven't moved to a different (uncovered) portion of the chair.This has saved us a ton of money in reupholstering costs! And it may well have saved the cats from getting shipped off to another home (okay, not saying I had the authority to pull that off; but, I was certainly thinking about it)!

Great for keeping my couch from being scratched up. Easy to trim and apply and my 2 cats are easily distracted by it.

I have hardwood floor, and the bottom of the carpet was not firm and kept sliding. My cat barely used this item because it was moving a lot. I'd say that the carpet would be more suitable to owners who have carpet floors or a rug.Despite the sliding issue, it was very soft, and my cat did acknowledge how soft it was. The carpet was longer than I expected so one could cut it up into pieces if one desired. Pretty good for carpet owners, not good for hardwood floor owners.
