Nostalgically good
I loved this candy since childhood but it had the seed inside. I'm happy without the seed. It's delish and best in moderation. It might be an acquired taste. Super sweet. If you're from Hawaii though you'll remember this.

Disappointing, dry and grainy sugar laden prunes
Quality is not consistent. Sometimes the black prunes, as we called these prunes in Trinidad are nice and moist but sometimes they are very dry and full of crystallized sugar! It is like eating grainy sugar, DISGUSTING and DISAPPOINTING!

Delicious!Just as I remembered these!
I haven’t had these in years, they are just as good as I remember them. I was concerned about quality after reading other reviews. No issues, not dry, I did find one pit but as long as you are careful it’s not a concern.
