Great USB to put on keychain
This USB is GREAT! It's very sleek and clean, has a metallic feeling, can hold a decent amount of data too. I use this mainly for my classes and keep it on my keychain. I never forget it as it fits really well on it, furthermore has seen rain and it still works like a charm. Only gripe is that if it stays in a computer for too long it can get a bit warm(not too hot). Otherwise, a very solid and good USB to use for anything. Read and Write speeds are very fast too

Works great, looks great.
Probably one of the best flash drives I've ever bought. Works great especially if you need to transfer a large amount of files or just large files in general. It's also very tiny - no so tiny as in you'll lose it easily, but tiny as in you can pretty much store it anywhere you'd like. It's thin, the color is nice, and is quite fast. 5/5.

A very attractive design for a respectable flash drive
It's a fairly small drive with a pleasing design. The little hook on the end is a bit awkward, but it works for use on a lanyard and/or keychain. I've included a CrystalDiskMark test of the drive. The tests seem consistent with what is advertised given that this is the 32 GB model, so I can't complain with speeds, however I notice disparity between myself and others. This might have to do with my PC and not the drive itself. At the very least, I can say in terms of use, it's not unreasonable in terms of performance.

Good, inexpensive drive for Linux Live USB and PortableApps
I was looking for USB flash drives with decent random 4k read/write speeds. For my intended usage (Linux Live USB with persistence and PortableApps), those criteria are quite important. The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 came very highly recommended and benchmarks very high. Unfortunately, it also has the price tag to match its excellent performance. At its price point, I'm more inclined to just buy a small enclosure plus M.2 SATA SSD. I purchased the Samsung BAR Plus after seeing review images of CrystalDiskMark showing greater than 10MB/s random 4k read/write. On most USB flash drives, you'd be lucky to get 5MB/s random 4k and there are even some bad USB 3.0 ones that do significantly less than 1MB/s. For reference, mechanical HDDs do around 2-4MB/s in those tests. Been using this drive for a week and so far so good. I currently have Linux Mint (with various desktop environments), Manjaro, Kubuntu and Ubuntu with 1GB casper-rw persistence files for each distro on the drive. Performance was slightly (but noticeably) better compared to the SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 I had been using and way, way, way better than the metal USB 2.0 Kingston I had on my keychain. Mine got uncomfortably warm after transferring ~20GB of data (via YUMI Multiboot) but I reckon that was because space was tight and there was practically no airflow. The drive cooled down quite quickly once I had it plugged to my laptop where it was getting a mild breeze. If money were no object, I'd get the Extreme PRO. Alas, it is and the Samsung BAR Plus makes for a nice, inexpensive alternative for my use-case. I'm buying a couple more of these so I can have dedicated drives for the distros I liked (with 20+ GB persistence partition instead of max 4GB persistent file).

Samsung BAR Plus seems to be one the very few USB flash drives that can handle an operating system!
My Samsung BAR Plus 32GB USB 3.1 flash drive provides a Read Speed of up to 200MB/second, and a Write Speed of up to 34MB/second, as many USB 3.1 flash drive manufacturers promise these days. But most USB flash drives fail miserably when one installs, say, a Linux Lite operating system, plugs it into a computer, and tries to run Linux on it. Most USB flash drives, even the USB 3.1 flash drives, and especially the compact ones, overheat, which slows those promised ultra-high read/write speeds to a crawl.. except for the Samsung BAR Plus 32GB USB 3.1 flash drive! The reason why the Samsung BAR Plus 32GB USB 3.1 flash drive runs cooler and faster is that the 1.53" (40mm) long metal case also functions as an efficient heatsink, that becomes warm to the touch when the Linux operating system is busy with videos, games, and such. And there's simply no way around that simple law of physics. I tried a few other brands of smaller, more compact USB 3.1 drives, that I could conveniently and permanently leave in my laptop USB port, but none of them could effectively run Linux. I highly recommend the Samsung BAR Plus USB 3.1 flash drive.

WORKS PERFECTLY AFTER GOING THROUGH WASHER AND DRYER!!!
I bought 2 of these at the same time, so they should be identical. This is my review of the other one: Right after I got this, I left it in a jeans pocket when I threw it in the wash. I wash jeans in steaming hot water with a 20 minute soak and then dry on high for at least an hour. Pretty extreme abuse for any electronic item. Found the drive at the bottom of the dryer, so I figured I'd put it in my laptop and format it to see if it still worked. I figured formatting it would expose any problems with it. Formatted fine with no drama. I have been using it for a month since then with zero problems!! People are complaining about write speeds. Not a big concern for me since I'm just loading photos or Word and Excel files, so I haven't even noticed that, BUT, I can guarantee you this drive will take the abuse! Since it's much more important to me that files are still on the drive even if I drop it or dunk it or whatever, I'm extremely satisfied with it. It's also designed to be much easier to insert and remove than flat drives. I've always had good luck with Samsung's TV's and appliances, but their phones are junk. I figured I'd buy a brand name drive from a company I was familiar with. Obviously, that was a wise decision. I'm not prone to hyperbole, nor do I usually take the time to write reviews, but this drive has blown me away. It's definitely the bee's knees and I rate this drive a definite BUY.

Few of the pendrive where write speed is in the range of 20-30 MB/s. It's very light in weight, sometimes slips a lot so getting a tag behind is a must. Although it is shock proof with 5 years warranty, I'm satisfied with what I have paid.

I return the drive next day because it got pretty damn hot and data were corrupted. Expected too much from Samsung. Also I checked using Samsung UFD authenticator application and verified it was genuine. All transfers stop mid-way or errors out even when I formatted it to exFAT.
