Family Game Night + Math Practice = Win-Win
Our family of four loves this game! Math is a struggle in our house, but this game doesn’t feel like homework, even though it’s heavy on the logic. I love that we can sit down together and laugh while we try to figure things out (yes, even mom gets stumped sometimes). My kids are 7 and 9, in 2nd and 4th grades, and the 1- or 2-star difficulty levels are perfect for us to play as a family. It’s such a great way to sneak in math practice while still feeling like game night. Pros: –Turns math into something fun and engaging –Adjustable difficulty so everyone can play at their own level –Works well for mixed ages (great for family play or classrooms) –Lots of variety with unique challenges –Compact deck of cards, easy to bring along for travel or game nights –Made in the USA with durable card stock Cons: –Can get tricky at higher levels, which may frustrate younger kids without help –Not a long gameplay—better as a quick activity or brain break than an all-evening game Overall, this has been such a fun way to bring the whole family together around math. Highly recommend for families, classrooms, or anyone who wants to make math a little less intimidating.

Additional/subtraction game for kids for different math levels, perfect for homeschooling families
Fun Ones is a math game for ages six and up, and it’s an excellent choice for families with younger children. Like the Wild Ones version, each round starts with a card placed in the center of the table showing a target number in the middle and several numbers around it. Players use paper, pencils, and erasers to figure out how to reach that target number by combining at least two of the numbers on the card. You can even use manipulatives or mind math. The key difference with Fun Ones is that it can be played using only addition and subtraction, which makes it accessible to younger kids who aren’t ready for more advanced operations. Meanwhile, older or more advanced players can challenge themselves by using more numbers or more complex combinations, so everyone can play at their own level at the same time. It’s a perfect homeschooling or family game, and honestly a fun brain workout for adults as well—especially if you try solving problems in your head. Like Wild Ones, it offers multiple levels of difficulty, clear star ratings, and a generous number of unique challenges. It’s made in Michigan, USA, and priced under $20, which makes it a smart buy if you’re looking for a high-quality, flexible math game for ages six and up. And the game is stored in a small box making it easy to stash away in the cards drawer.

Fun mental math with a variety of ways to play
I homeschool my kids, including a wide range of ages and skill levels. This game says 6+ on the box, and that's about right, although even my teens can get in on this game using the “hard” or “monstrously hard” difficulty levels of using four to five of the numbers, and also incorporating multiplication and division. There are also four different game play suggestions in the instructions, including a collaborative option and an option to work together to come up with all possible solutions on each card. These have been great options for us since one of my younger kids doesn’t like high speed competition. The cards are double sided and also feel durable. I love this game as it’s a great way to practice mental math while keeping homeschool light and fun!

Makes learning math fun again
This was definitely fun for kids, and the quality of the cards were thick and durable. We played with this on the dining table. The age range was appropriate in the grade level. Value for money is good since it gets them away from screens and engages their thinking. It was just enough challenge to make it fun but solveable. After a while it got repetitive and they lost interest.

Fun for all of us
This has been such a fun game. My boys have really been hating math but this game drew them in. Thankfully! We can play it as a family, too. It's hot easy instructions. I would say this is for for 8 years and up. The card quality in a medium thickness.
