True Fabrication SS-TRU-2795 The Rumble Growler, Multi color

I love this jug. I also have banged this jug on counters and have dropped it about a foot off the floor and it hasnt shattered, which I'm grateful for. But I have a feeling I'll be purchasing another soon which I wouldn't mind at all. The only thing I was bummed out about was that the picture shows a metal cap but it came with a plastic cap , which it does say in the description that the cap is plastic.

I've been looking for a great option for storing my cold brew coffee concentrate in the fridge. This 64oz growler and poly seal cap is perfect! It seals air tight to keep contents fresh, plus it's easy to pour from. Previously I had been using two 1-quart mason jars. The lids always seemed to rust to matter how well I kept them dry. This growler suits my needs, and I imagine could be used to store many different liquids, yes even home-brewed beer.

The bottles very sturdy, but I was real disappointed that it did not come with the poly-seal caps as promised in the writeup. I had to order and pay for the caps separately because the shipper and Amazon said all I could do was return them. Also, the handle can pinch your finger if you're not careful because there is not enough space between the curve of the bottle underneath the handle and the handle itself.

The description of the growler online states that it includes a "poly seal cap." This was included on the invoice and on the box. The cap included is NOT a poly seal one but rather appears to be a plasctic coated metal one that is not airtight! If you want to ferment anything in this growler, you will need to buy the 38 mm poly seal screw caps separately. However, with the poly seal screw caps, this is a great jar for fermenting!

This is a great bottle. The lid has a much better insert to seal the contents. It has a molded into the bottom of the lid a plastic ring that protrudes nicely allowing for a tighter seal. I plan on purchased another four.

The cap fits at an angle and to fix it and keep it from spilling out you have to apply a ton of pressure which I'm sure is ruining the cap in the long run ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
