Pouring them back into the jar turned out not to be easy as there were more than would fit. I don’t know how they get them into the jars in the factory because it took a lot of shaking to get them to compress so I could finally put the cap back on. So there are probably more wire nuts than you will use in a lifetime.For a test they worked perfectly with three 22AWG wires or one 18AWG and one 22AWG. The wires in the fixture are probably 18AWG or 20AWG, and these worked perfectly. These do the job, and are a fraction of the cost of those available locally.

It may not sound like a big deal, but I ordered 1000 of these from another vendor, and they came in a bag, which was broken, so it was put in another bag, which now I had to find a container to hold them all. These gray connectors come in a clear plastic container with a screw on lid. These 24-16 awg connectors are the most often used type I have. This is a good value for me.Cheers.
