As horror movies go The Ring was a great movie and the quality is awesome.

The original Japanese film 'Ringu' is very good, but I find the American version of 'The Ring' to be one of those rare superior remakes. Naomi Watts as the mother and David Dorfman as her young son give fine performances, and for the most part there aren't any cheap scares. The supporting cast includes Martin Henderson and the always eminently watchable Brian Cox. I even enjoyed 'The Ring Two', albeit to a lesser extent, though as far as that goes, I realize that I'm in a minority.

If you've not seen "The RING" yet it is a must watch for horror fans. It is the American version of a Japanese horror film titled "RINGU". While it is a little tamer than the Japanese release it still harbors a frightening atmosphere heightened by excellent acting, and dreary color scheme. As far as this version of "The RING" goes it is the one collector's will likely be interested in. It has plenty of extras including a steelbook case. The visual quality is superb, and perfect for viewing on higher resolution HDTVs.

La imagen es una mejora excelente desde la presentación en blu-ray, viéndose intensa, potenciada por la profundidad de los negros y la nitidez de la misma. Trae audio en inglés DTS-HD MA 5.1 y subtítulos en inglés y español castellano. No trae subtítulos o doblaje en español latino, pero el disco blu-ray normal si trae y es el mismo que las ediciones anteriores. El código digital es válido para USA.
