May receive an open box item that is suppose to be new
The product itself is good it’s the fact that i received an open box item that was not new is the reason for the 3 stars. I am within the return window but amazon does not provide an option for replacement rather i get an exchange for an item option. The item is currently higher in price than what i paid and would need to pay the difference if i want to exchange. Given that i got it at a low price willing to keep it, but had to make sure i wiped the item down. This is unacceptable for amazon to pass off something as new but clearly was returned after being opened. Luckily its not meant for gifting. The quality of the helmet is nice with the vibrant paint job and the details inside the helmet makes it really nice. It’s a basic helmet with no sound effects. The light on the eyes are cool, but as another review mentioned at full brightness it is very difficult to see through the lens. To see you will need the light to be on low or off in order to see. I wear glasses and was able to maneuver my glasses to fit while wearing but its a snug fit and on occasion my glasses are almost smushed up against my face and eyes. So may need to take glasses off in order to see. The light on the helmet has three light settings from high medium and low then off. The fit is snug for my face i wear a 7 3/4 fitted cap. My face is right up close to the helmet with it completely closed. I got this helmet one due to the sale price and its iron man. Looking forward to getting the helmet from avengers campus at disneyland california adventure.

Son loves this!
My 5 year old is obsessed with this helmet. He can be pretty rough with his toys and this has held up really well. It’s easy for him to put on and turn on the lights.
