This case is amazing as all of my Otterbox cases. I drop my phone A LOT! Like every day! It has protected my screen amazingly well. For over 5 years the Defender has been the ONLY case I feel comfortable putting on my phone.If you've never had an Otterbox Defender before, be aware that it does add a bit of bulk to the phone, but that's a trade-off I'm more than willing to accept!I got the "Blue Suede Shoes" color which looks great, but it doesn't exactly match how the color looks in the photos. The blue and the tan are lighter colors in person. The blue definitely isn't navy like it looks in the pics.

Otterbox is the go to phone cover to protect your Samsung Galaxy phone. My son was in need of a new cover, it's green (his favorite color), and will ensure to offer maximum protection from teenage abuse. He's happy!

Works well. Has protected my phone from when it's thrown on the ground by my kids.The only thing that is annoying is that I use a pop socket so it's pulling the back of the rubber away from the plastic casing

4 years ago, when my phone was new, I put an otterbox on it before my phone ever left the house. I just replaced that first otterbox, since the charger port cover finally broke off- after 4 years of use.Let me tell you about those 4 years. When my phone was 6 months old, I left it on the back of my car when I was getting gas. Like everything that is placed on top of a car, it was forgotten- until I'd pulled out into 40mph traffic. That's when my bluetooth disconnected. That's when I knew that the cars behind me had just trampled my expensive new phone at over 40mph. By rights, my phone should have been smashed to smithereens. I recovered my phone- after watching a few cars run it over some more. The screen was nothing but shards of broken glass. But my bluetooth reconnected. And stayed connected all day at work.After all that, the only thing broken was my screen, and a few dings and cracks in the hard plastic of my amazing case. I got a new screen installed and kept using that same case for another 3.5 years.It is a little bulky, it is a little thick, it's not very sexy, but it will protect your phone like nothing else. I will never have a phone that's not covered in an otterbox. They are worth every penny every time.
