How did I not know about this earlier in my life! I had to slice strawberries during strawberry season so I purchased this. It made quick work of the many flats of strawberries I turned into pies and frozen berries. Great purchase!

It is a great fruit slicer, which can easily slice fruits as banana, strawberries, kiwi, and vegetables as tomatoes, cucumber and even pepper. It’s very helpful when making fruit salad. It’s very easy to use and it’s small so it can be stored anywhere in the kitchen. The price is good too. It comes with two brushes, which makes cleaning easy.

The blades fell off after the second use, which can be dangerous and someone could easily get cut.

Initially, I thought I needed this little slicer…taken in by the neat photos of eggs sliced up, strawberries, etc, but after a few uses, I realized that it’s really going to be a “clog up my drawer, seldom used” product. I HATE myself when I do that, haha.The slicer does pretty much do what it shows….slices up small round things, but that is PART of the drawback….it only does small things, and, honestly not as well as other slicers I already have. It is VERY small, so if you want to do multiple items at once, you’re out of luck. If you want to slice soft items, you’re out of luck. If you want to slicer anything larger than 2”x2”, yeah, you guessed it, out of luck!It DOES slice cherry tomatoes, or strawberries, somewhat well, if they are not very ripe, but not as well nor a bunch at once like my little cherry tomato slicer, that you can fill with 7 or 8 and slice as once with a much sharper blade. It does do boiled eggs well, as long as they are well done, but cheese is certainly not it’s strong point…nothing compared to my spam/cheese/egg slicer that is much larger and has ten wires that slice a larger quantity, quickly all at once.I decided that I will buy a small shelf unit to hang in my kitchen to display all of the specialty gadgets that I seldom use, just to remind me they are available and can occasionally work well for a task, but also to encourage me to stop and think about a gadget BEFORE I jump!It IS fairly easy to clean, if you clean it immediately, but if you don’t, well, get prepared for a real task. It does hold several sliced items for dumping later, and it has a sort of pusher to make sure the vege/fruit completely slices through, and the price is fair, so those are pluses and result in a full 3 stars.

So easy to use and, here's the best part, so easy to clean afterwards. Slices clean, uniform and perfect. Blades are sharp, with the base and brushes included, no need to worry for little hands to get cut on the blades. Love this and bought an extra for my daughter to use. We love it when we make our snack boxes up.

This slicer works great for getting even slices of small foods. It works great for slicing eggs for salads, strawberries for pies or desserts, and olives for pizza. It does not work well for harder foods like carrots or softer, squishier items like tomatoes or cherries. As long as the food has a consistency similar to strawberries and fits in the cutting area, it works well. Clean-up is simple. The product description is accurate. It arrived in two days without any issues. I would get this fruit slicer again.

I used it to cut strawberries, and it worked so well. The cleaning brushes are necessary and useful.
